I’d give this place six stars if I could. I found this place almost by accident, hidden in a little strip mall, and decided to check it out – it turned out to be some of the best Japanese food I’d ever had. You’ll generally spend about $20 or so (before tip) for a non-sushi main course – but each main dinner course includes eggplant, a salad, a bowl of miso soup, your choice of dessert (including several unusual and delicious flavors of ice cream), and a slice of honeydew melon. Well worth the price. I don’t eat sushi, but my father ordered a plate of assorted sushi and gave it an A+. Another A+ for atmosphere, too – it’s classy, but comfortably so, and the service is excellent.
