Love this place. I usually order for delivery and it never takes them more than 30 minutes to deliver, I've never been disappointed. Their Kani salad is a taste of heaven, try the shumai shrimp too they're simply incredible! Staff is super friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this place! Pros: great service, food is always good and fresh Cons: a little pricey but it is worth every penny!!!! more

Best sushi on the beach! 9/8/2007

I went to Maiko for the first time a few weeks ago based on these reviews. Miami Beach has a shortage of good Japanese food and although I love Sushi Samba on Lincoln Rd., it's a little too pricey for weekly visits. The food and service were both excellent and I order in all the time. The sushi is great and although the restaurant is pretty unassuming from the front, most good sushi places are. The atmosphere is great and I only wish more people knew how wonderful the restaurant is! Pros: Food, service, atmosphere Cons: Parking on Washington Ave. more

Great food, great atomsphere 12/11/2006

I've heard of this place from several people and finally had a chance to visit last night. Excellent service, great food. Wide variety of sushi & Japanese food for all taste. Even my husband that doesn't eat seafood loved it. I recommend the Kamikaze Roll (Spicy tuna, cucumber & avacado roll covered in tempura flakes and spicy mayo) & the Tuna Tataki. I'm going again next weekend with some out of town friends. Can't wait. Pros: Excellent service & Food Cons: Parking can be a little hard to find on weekends. more
