My wife and I went on a Wednesday night, and the restaurant was dead; only one other table was occupied. Like many other Thai restaurants with paintings and trinkets from Thailand, the restaurant is roomy and comfortable. There is a sushi bar. I ordered the Pad Thai and Tom Ka Gai as a starter. My wife ordered a seafood noodle soup with a Tom Yum base. The noodle soup had shrimp, squid and small pieces of chicken. However, the amount of protein was lacking. The soup base was somewhat bland and plain. The Tom Ka Gai was a little too sweet for my taste and not enough flavor (i.e. ginger, lemongrass, cilantro). The chicken was quite tough and rubbery. The Pad Thai was decent. The noodles, though, were a little more wet than I am used to and a lot of toppings were served on the side, such as peanuts and shredded carrots. I wished they had some fresh cilantro. The chicken was just as rubbery as in the soup. Aside from the nice decor and smiling waiter, the food is not on par with other Thai restaurants.
Pros: Traditional decor
Cons: Rubbery chicken, bland food
