Awesome, great people, great food, and great service.

Worst

the stromboli has so much pepperoni in it that it was ineatable and the topings for the sausage and pepperoni pizza we soggy all under the cheese wont order again.

Fettuccinie Alfredo perfectly al dente. The kids loved the pizza and everything came so fresh out of the oven that you cannot tell me that the very professional and sweet delivery guy didn't cook the meal in the back of his car on the way here. I will be ordering again!!! more

They hosted a party for me in the restaurant the food was really good and the price was good. There was 15 people including 3 young kids and it was all ready for us when we got there. The eggplant rollatini and Chicken Picata was fabulous.\r \r Thank you Danny and the staff for everything more

EXCELLENT 11/8/2008

I have had food delivered from Mahwah Pizza and Pasta dozens of times now. They have NEVER missed an item and only twice I wasn't as THRILLED as I normally am. \r \r I speak to the same man each time I place my order. He knows who I am at this point.\r \r The "Super Family Special" (sitting here right now in our kitchen) is a Large Pie, a beautiful salad, mozzarella sticks, a chicken parmigiana sandwich and 2 litter bottle of soda that runs $26.95. I found out it's at least an $11 savings.\r \r I am VERY happy with Mahwah Pizza and Pasta. I can't imagine anyone not being the same as I am quite particular. more

Mahwah Pizza and Pasta is my favorite restaurant to order from. The delivery always occurs sooner than the expected delivery time and the food is always warm and delicious. I have had a good experience with the people who have delivered my food as well, whereas there are other restaurants in the area where delivery boys are not personable or try to pull one over on you by not bringing change (even for bills as small as $20) when you are paying in cash. I always trust Mahwah Pizza and Pasta to deliver exceptional food in an exceptional way. more

great food 7/29/2006

I usually get the grilled chicken and eggplant with pesto sauce on focaccia bread (huge sandwich). Half the time the bread is too hard (not the focaccia but all the other types). I've had the pizza, clams oregano and mussels all good. Only once did they mess up the order which I called in. I usually call it in and pick up. Dined in a couple of times: adequate and pleasant service. I usually don't ask for delivery- other pizza joint in town takes a long time also to deliver- in Southern Bergen county takes 20 minutes max to deliver. I don't know why it takes so long here???? I think the price is fair for the quality. Good location near the schools! PROS: great fresh italian food CONS: delivery slow more

Good Food but ... 2/1/2006

Let me begin by rating the food, it's very good. I recommend just about everything they have. My personal favorite is their Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad. Now food aside, the service whether dining in or taking out is off. Especially when having the food delivered. I've had my food delivered more than a dozen times and only once did they remember my entire order. More often than not the poor delivery guy has to go back to pick up whatever was missing and bring it back to me. Also they charge a delivery free. Dining in is the best way to have a good experience because the people are nice and the atmosphere is nice. PROS: Food. CONS: Service (especially delivery). more

Good Food, a little overpriced 10/16/2005

While I do like the food from this pizza place, I feel their menu is a little overpriced for a local pizza joint. We ordered two chicken dinners one night & the bill was about $35 which is a lot for takeout! more
