Underrated Spot 12/1/2015

This library is really a great place to study, if you're looking for a place with steady hours and least amount of noise as possible. One of my favorite spots. Plenty of seatings, but you'll have to look hard for desk with outlets near them. It isn't ever too crowded. And the library hosts a lot of events for adults and kids! more

Large library! 12/23/2005

The Mahon Libarary houses the largest collection of books withing the Lubbock Public Library System. It has extensive reference and childrens areas housing both new and old books. It also houses many computers with high speed access (which is really convenient because it is free to the public) and also a collection of dvds and vhs movies. The only drawback is its location in downtown Lubbock, which can be an inconvenience. more
