I had been to Magnum/Newton a couple of times, and then I took my Dodge Dakota in because I saw water dripping out of the front of the muffler and thought I needed a new muffler. Jim Durr told me that this was supposed to happen to get the moisture out of the muffler. Jim could just as easily have sold me a new muffler as well as explaining the situation. Since that time about 4 or 5 years ago we have been steady customers of Magnum/Newton because I believe they are honest and trustworthy. more

They reworked a diesel truck as much as they could for me, they've replaced ball joints, brakes, they check my fluids before I leave town. They just do everything. I have 5 automobiles maintained at Magnum Automotive. They were all pretty old and had a lot of miles. Whenever we broke down, Magnum was very accommodating in order to get it repaired, and repaired economically. I have been using them for over 10 years. They will tell you the car's needs, but they will also tune the solution to your situation. Magnum listens to when you need certain repairs done. Some places take your car in and fix it, and you're surprised. Magnum always listens and makes changes according to what is wanted. For instance, I don't want to put in a whole new transmission when it is such an old car, so they always give me options. Magnum always worked me in, and was able to revive one of my cars for me when I needed it. The repairs are always good. They don't shortcut the repairs. They always tell me the repairs that are needed for the safety of the driver and the ones that can be scheduled for a later time. Sometimes they will look at rebuilt parts rather than new pieces for their customers. They will find just the one piece that needs to be replaced instead of replacing the entire assembly. They work hard to reduce the repair bill to make it accommodating to their customers. However, they never shortcut repairs. more

I have been dealing with Magnum Automotive for close to 20 years. I pretty much have all my service work done there. They do a great job. I have never had any problems with repairs, and if I have I take it back and they take care of it. The customer service is really good.
