I have 5 automobiles maintained at Magnum Automotive. They were all pretty old and had a lot of miles. Whenever we broke down, Magnum was very accommodating in order to get it repaired, and repaired economically. I have been using them for over 10 years.
They will tell you the car's needs, but they will also tune the solution to your situation. Magnum listens to when you need certain repairs done. Some places take your car in and fix it, and you're surprised. Magnum always listens and makes changes according to what is wanted. For instance, I don't want to put in a whole new transmission when it is such an old car, so they always give me options.
Magnum always worked me in, and was able to revive one of my cars for me when I needed it. The repairs are always good. They don't shortcut the repairs. They always tell me the repairs that are needed for the safety of the driver and the ones that can be scheduled for a later time.
Sometimes they will look at rebuilt parts rather than new pieces for their customers. They will find just the one piece that needs to be replaced instead of replacing the entire assembly. They work hard to reduce the repair bill to make it accommodating to their customers. However, they never shortcut repairs.
