I have found my hairstylist for life!!! (finally!!!) 4/18/2008

I love Magnolias!! I have been to tons and tons of salons and this place is fabulous!!! I called on a whim and got booked with Christen . . . she is now my stylist for life! (For some reason I can't seem to find anybody I love -- so I am constantly changing places . . . not anymore!!!) Christen is super sweet and she totally took care of me! She gave me a great cut and fabulous highlights/color. (My hair was drab before -- now it really shines and my hubby loves it too!!) I can't tell you how many compliments I have gotten on my hair. My only wish is that I wish I would have found Christen sooner! I can't tell you how many times I have driven by Magnolias and never called . . . ya gotta call!!! Thank you Christen and Magnolias . . . y'all are fabulous!! Pros: Christen is wonderful!! Paulli (the receptionist) was super sweet too!! Cons: No cons -- I can't think of one!! more

The Salon To Go To! 4/17/2008

I am a California-licensed cosmetologist (though not practicing) and have been going to Julie for years. She has the perfect balance of recommending something that works specifically for me (hair type/face/age/lifestyle), listening to my wants and suggestions, and keeping current on trends (re: would professionally talk you out of an 80's perm, mullet, or chunky highlights....LOL). This is her career and she takes it seriously....always keeping up with new styles and techniques and believing strongly in continuous education. When I leave her, I make SURE I'm going SOMEWHERE afterwards because I KNOW I'll be looking hot! LOL Pros: If you want your hair done RIGHT, go to Magnolias (Julie Honohan) Cons: A smidge pricey, but worth it more

This salon is full of positive energy and fantastic stylists! Everyone is so friendly - it 's fun going! It is the least bit stuffy or snobby. Val has been doing my hair for about 7 years and I leave there every time feeling GREAT!!! She's wonderful for ideas as well! more

Whenever I am in the Orlando area I always make an appointment with Carrie to have my color and highlights updated. She does a fantastic job with my color and my hair is always so soft and silky. I always have raves about my hair after I have been to see her. The shop is fantastic and everyone is so friendly that I wish could visit more often. more

I feel like I belong in a commercial! 4/14/2008

I couldn't even think about anyone else doing my hair after going to Carrie at Magnolias! I have always been one of those girls who tear out a picture in a magazine and say "I want this" and walk out wondering why it didn't look the same. I was looking for a style that fits my face and after finding Carrie a year and a half ago NO ONE else has touched a hair on my head! She takes the time to look at the picture and will tell me how we should tweak it, so it look good on ME and becomes my signature, not a copycat. She is absolutely AMAZING with color, my highlights always complement my skin tone. I really feel like I could do a hair commercial! The cut, the color... and let's not talk about how soft it has become, Carrie has so much product knowledge! It seems like running his hands absent-mindedly through my hair is my boyfriend's new favorite thing. Speaking of men, I saw her doing a men's haircut a couple weeks ago while I was waiting for my appointment and I have a appt. for my boyfriend to go to her next week. I am excited to see what she comes up for him!! Pros: Carrie is always accommodating to my busy schedule. more

I would ONLY trust MAGNOLIAS !!!! 4/12/2008

I go to Carrie for my color and cut, I LOVE her ! We always mix it up and do something different every time I go in, she does a great job at giving my something no one else has and by the time I leave it looks awesome and I always have people asking me where I got it done and giving me complements. I can't say enough good things about her and the whole salon! My husband goes there as well, he goes to Julie and Christen. He doesn't trust anyone else either, and I've never seen a guy more into about his hair than him! So I totally recommend this Salon 100%, try it once, trust me you'll be addicted! Pros: very relaxing, you can be yourself! more

Magnolia Salon rocks!!! 4/11/2008

If you want your hair to: (1) be the envy of the rest, (2) turn heads because it looks sooo good, then go to Magnolia Salon. It takes alot for a salon to get my vote. This is the best salon you will find in the Orlando and surrounding area. I've had awesome haircuts, color and highlights at Magnolia. Abby does a brilliant job on my hair. The others do remarkable work as well...just take a look around while you are there. This IS the place if you care about how your hair looks. Because of Magnolia and Abby, I look like a... Barbie doll Pros: Everything about Magnolia is superb Cons: I just wish I had found them sooner and not wasted $$ in other salons. more

You will not find a more warm, caring, friendly and fun salon anywhere like this one! My sister and I both see stylist Abigail (Abby.) She does a superb job with our color, cut and style that my sister says even her mother-in-law who owns salons in the DC area would adore Abby! The other staff at Magnolias are wonderful! Take our word for it and enjoy yourself! Pros: Offer you drinks, ample parking, good energy. Cons: a bit expensive but worth every penny! more

An all around great place to relax and get "BEA-utiful". The ladies are great and treat everyone with the same amount of respect and give everyone equally wonderful treatment. A sublime place for the ladies (gentlemen too) to have hair and nails tended to. The ladies who work here are obvious beneficiaries of each others arts. My friend Jim commented: "It's an extraordinary collection of feminine beauty in one place." But there's more than outer beauty here; each of the ladies is a distinct and delightful personality. I've had a chance to observe and listen to the girls over the two years I've been coming here. My distinct impression is they are taking care of the needs of their friends, not mere customers. Their main goal is you to be pleased with the results and will do all they know to achieve that result. The ladies keep up with the latest styles and trends by attending hair dresser conventions regularly. Finally, you'll always hear the sound of laughter in Magnolia's. You are guaranteed to leave in a great mood! Pros: Very clean., Lot's of windows., Great atmosphere. more

ive seen carolyn several times for color and for a professional male just looking for something creative she does a great job making it look natural and dramatic at the same time. nobody can tell i have color done but they all love my hair. carolyn is not only a great stylist but she's so much fun and i'm never sitting around bored with color in my hair. this place is awesome, check it out Pros: gunnar does a great shampoo, very relaxing almost feels too good more
