Best salon 5/15/2008

I have nothing but great things to say about Magnolias salon and spa. All of the stylists there are so friendly. I have been getting my hair done by Carolyn since she started at Magnolias and she does a wonderful job. I have red hair so it can be difficult. Carolyn took the time to show me pictures of what kinds of reds I liked and disliked. My haircut is always great too. She takes the time to show me how to style my hair and little tricks to do when having a bad hair day. (not that I have many) Recently when I was at Magnolias I noticed the Miss Magnolias retail items I think that the Miss Magnolias birthday party's and the station is such a gerat idea. I am bringing in my daughter t he next time I get my hair done so she can have a glamour day along with me. I highly recomend Magnolias salon and spa Pros: evening appointments available more

Best hair service in orlando 5/14/2008

I love going to Magnolias Salon and Spa. I always feel welcomed from the second that I walk in the door. I have gotten my hair done from several of the stylists. Whenever I call to book an appointment I tell the receptionist that I don't mind who does my hair because I know that there all great, experienced hair stylists. My hair always looks great!! The salon has such a great vibe to it. You can tell that the stylists truly care about there clients. When I am getting my hair done I look around the salon and watch the other stylists and I see that the stylists take there time with there clients. I reccommend this salon to everyone. I am fairly new in town and I have tried a few other salons in Winter Park but NOTHING compares to Magnolias. Pros: Very accomidating Cons: I have none more

Best Shampoo 5/13/2008

As a man, getting a rubdown in the sink is the most important part of my haircut experience. Carolyn, who has been cutting my hair for about a year now, gives the best Shampoo job I've ever had! She really lathers and massages like she means it! more

Best Overall Experience 5/13/2008

Every visit made to Magnolias Salon is exceptional. All of the staff is very welcoming and helpful. Carolyn has been cutting and highlighting my hair since she was in beauty school years ago. Magnolias Salon has really helped her grow into the hair stylist she aspires to be! Her hair cuts are very precise and her highlights are nothing but perfect!! more

I've been seeing carolyn for months now and she does a great job with my hair. its hard for a man to get some color that doesnt look like i've had my hair colored! she does it perfect and i wouldnt go anywhere else... the salon itself is very nice, always busy but still friendly and welcoming. besides doing great hair carolyn is so much fun and i'm never sitting around bored with color in my hair thanks guys keep up the good work more

Best haute Haircut 5/11/2008

Magnolia's is very welcoming. Abby is my stylist and she can do wonders. I have fine, thin hair that has a been frustrating aspect all of my life. Abby makes my hair looks full and beautiful. What's better is that she shows me how to do it. If you have had a hard time finding a great stylist, check out Abby. I won't go to anyone else! Pros: Abby! Cons: absolutely none I can think of more

Below Average Service 5/10/2008

I had a very bad experience with this salon. I didn't ever feel welcome and the color Christen applied to my hair was dull and washed out instantly. I would never recommend this salon to anyone. Amazing Color, Highlights, Spa and Service. 5/6/2008

I have been going to Magnolia's Salon and Spa for over four years now. I fell in love with Magnolia's the day I walked in and was welcomed by each and every Magnolia's specialist with a smile, asked if I would care for a beverage and given a tour of the welcoming downstairs salon and beautiful upstairs spa. There is not a single Magnolia's specialist I would shy you away from - each and every stylist goes above and beyond any expectations you may set and the upstairs spa (nails, facials, massages) is different from any experience I have had and your environment both relaxing and welcoming. I would refer any friend of mine to Magnolia's and know they are in good hands without having to say anything more then "Magnolia's Salon and Spa will take care of you". more

Best salon around hands down! 5/6/2008

I've been going to Magnolias for years! My stylist is Carrie and she's the best. I never bring in pictures and she always gives me the best and newest color and cuts. I have dark, straight hair so I get tired of the same color and cuts that my hair usually allows. The atmosphere is shabby sheek with a massage therepist, manicurist upstairs at your service! I would highly recommend this salon to anywhere! more

I'm SO glad I found this place. 5/6/2008

I started going to Magnolias in the fall of 2007 after moving down to Orlando. Leaving behind my stylist of 10+ years was hard, but Magnolias and their fantastic staff has made the transition easy. From the minute you walk in the door you feel like you're coming "home". Even as a newcomer to this salon I was welcomed like a regular, offered a drink, and made to feel at-ease in my surroundings. Everyone is talkative and their customer service is unmatched by any other salon I've been to. Abby is my stylist and I must commend her on the wonderful work she does. My hair is difficult to work with and she seems to have the magic touch. My hair looks best now more than ever. She does my color and highlights and I don't believe I'll ever be disappointed by the results. She listens to my input and suggests what she thinks will work...and I trust her enough to always go with her suggestions. The cuts and styles she uses on me are always great and age-appropriate. I love that when my appointment is over they pre-book me for my next visit, which keeps my trims on track. I started as a skeptical new-comer to the Orlando area, wondering if anyone could work with my hair, and Magnolias has made a believer out of me. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair. Pros: fantastic atmosphere, friendly faces, wonderfully talented staff Cons: parking gets tight at times, pricey but beauty is worth it more

Best Salon & Spa in town 5/6/2008

WOW - what a fun and friendly place. Abby is my hair specialist and she's the best. I have long hair and let her "design" it and I am so happy, I finally feel like I'm in the 21st Century. America is my nail technician and has been for many years. She does acrylic nails and regular manicures along with the best spa pedicures in town. I always have the best looking feet in town. Kim gives the best facials and skin treatments. When you want a massage this is the placed to come. Bevin has healing hands and will make you feel like a brand new person. All the staff and stylists are very friendly - great atmosphere and very relaxing. Pros: Everything Cons: None more

Best Customer Service and Love my Hair! 5/4/2008

I was so happy with my experience at Magnolias. The receptionist was super friendly and made me feel comfortable. My hairstylist was Christen and I was really impressed by her. She was extremely sweet, really listened to my concerns and gave me the exact hair cut and highlights that I was looking for. She even did an awesome job at teaching me how to style my hair. Other salons that I have been to in Orlando always felt so rushed, but I felt Christen took her time and cared. I also paid attention to the other stylists and noticed they were the same. This salon is very laid-back and all the stylists were friendly and genuinely cared about their clients. I already booked my next appointment with Christen and am really excited! Best hair in town! 5/2/2008

After returning here from Atlanta after 10 years away from Winter Park, I was looking for a salon that was hip, fun, comfortable and welcoming. I tried several salons who had wonderful and nice stylists but was won over by the overall package at Magnolia's Salon. They are professional, current and friendly and they do the best hair in town. My stylist there listens to what I want and somehow makes it happen. The owner is always genuinely interested in the happiness of the clients. Try it, you'll like it! Pros: Color is amazing more

I went to a hairdresser in Winter Park for five years and left because they charged too much! At Magnolia?s, my haircuts are much better, more stylish and they cost less! All the girls are super friendly; when you walk in they offer you a drink and you never have to wait. My stylist, Abby is flexible when making appointments and very sweet. When my boyfriend and I broke up, he asked me if he could still get his hair cut from Abby because she is so good! more

I just LOVE Magnolias! Especially because of Abby!!! She's the greatest!! I keep my hair short - and Abby does a GREAT Job (I'm not soooo good about getting back in a timely manner to get trims - but it grows out GREAT!!) Abby does my color and highlights too! I really trust her ..and let her do what she thinks would work --and I've never been disappointed! - and she's always got a smile on her face when I see her - and it puts a smile on mine!!!! Best Highlights and Color! 4/29/2008

It is very hard to find a new hair stylyist/salon when moving to a new city. Magnolia's not only filled the void of my previous salon from back in St. Louis but exceeded my expectations! I've had some hair disasters in the past so trusting someone new with my hair has been really hard to do throughout the years. Carolyn put me at ease and gave me the best highlights I have ever had. Not only does Carolyn do amazing things with my hair but her personality and customer service truly makes getting my hair done a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I used to get my hair done every few months but now I go every 6 weeks because I love it so much! more

Best Color and Cut in Town 4/25/2008

Magnolias is the best place in town for both color and cut for adults and children. Val has been coloring and cutting my hair for the past three years and does a great job. I am always getting stopped and asked who does my hair. The best thing is that I can make it look almost as good as Val does on a daily basis. I would never dream of changing salons. It is refreshing to see all of the stylist taking the time to talk with their clients prior to cutting or coloring their hair. The stylist always take the time to discuss your lifestyle prior to making any changes to your style. All of the girls are the BEST!! My 13 year old son has noticed what a great job Val does with my hair and he insists on having Val cut his hair also. I would highly recommend any of the stylist from Magnolias Salon and Spa! Julie is awesome, I sit down and say do what you want to do and I always leave happy. Book in advance especially around prom and the holidays, I've been weeks out at her peak times. Not only is she skilled at what she does but she is has a friendly and personable attitude everytime I come in. I love the way my hair comes out and I love her style.
