Great acupuncturist specializing in pregnant and postnatal women! :-) 8/30/2008

I was 41 weeks overdue, and had researched that acupuncture is a great alternative to using conventional medicine like Pitocin. I had 3 session with Nicola and by the third, I was having contractions! Yeah! - and went into labor 3 days before having to be artificially induced. I would highly recommend Nicola! Nicola is very supportive and warm to her patients and provides gentle acupucture that works wonders!. I am happy for a safe natural labor, and am happy to have Nicola support in the BEST in being both a superb acupuncturist and helping me ensure a natural childbirth, at a difficult point in the pregnancy. Pros: supportive, flexible in scheduling, gentle, excellent treatment, Cons: none that I can think of! more

Healing and supportive 7/21/2008

I trust Nicola completely with my care. She creates a calm, supportive environment, and is completely generous with our time together, always allowing as long it takes to discuss any issues or concerns I'm having before starting treatment. She's a great listener and very responsive to any requests or concerns. more

Professional, Gentle and Relaxing 7/18/2008

I have been going to Nicola for years, she's amazing! i've had all sort of problems that she has been able to help me with, from headaches to broken bones (I'm a little clumsy) before I started going to her I had a pretty severe needle phobia, which through her gentle and reasuring manner, she has been able to help me with i'm still scared of syringes but the hair thin acupuncture needles don't bother me at all anymore and I now really enjoy accupuncture because it is about the most relaxed I ever feel and the physical results are amazing, it completely surprised me because I was very skeptical of acupuncture being of any physical use but it has worked wonders. Pros: super relaxing and always makes me feel 100x better more

Down to earth funky zen 7/11/2008

Nicola is the bomb! She is really easy to talk to and so caring. This is exactly what you need in your venture to wellness. You feel like your walking into a friends house, it's great! Especially since the whole point is to be relaxed, calm and at peace. She makes it so easy to gain the full benefits of acupuncture. My best experience yet is when I came in for my regular weekly treatment but had sprained my wrist the night before, Nicola needled some points on my wrist and I kid you not within an hour the pain was COMPLETELY gone. It was truely amazing. Acupuncture is amazing stuff and Nicola rocks at it! THANKS MAGNOLIA!!!!! Pros: Sweet, easy access, flexible scheduling, comfortable environment, kid/baby friendly more
