I started taking lessons from Mrs. Sheran Lewis at her barn, Magnolia Acres Farm, the summer of 2004. I have been in love with the whole experience that she provided for me. I had never ridden English or jumped a horse in my life, until coming to Mrs. Sheran’s farm. I would highly recommend anyone from never even touched a horse to a experienced rider to be a student with Mrs. Sheran. She taught me the solid foundation of the walk/ trot/ canter/ jump/ showing and caring for a horse that I still have in my heart to this very day. I give almost all the credit of me getting on the Virginia Intermont Collage riding team to Mrs. Sheran when I attended school there from 2010-2011. \r

When I brought my two first horses to her farm in 2009, she treated them like her own. She treats every animal on her property with the love and care they deserve. I never have had the thought that “I hope my horses are being well cared for” while being a border at her farm. I received a call or text anytime my horses got themselves into trouble, like horses often do:). If you don’t have a preferred farrier or vet, the ones she has come there are wonderful and is knowledgeable of great vet or farriers in the area to choose from. \r
I have taken one of my horses with me to both collages I attended and never have been satisfied or had serious issues with the care (or lake) given to my horse. The impression she has made of how horse farms should be run is something that other barns I have been with over the years have never lived up too. I hope that I never have to leave Magnolia Aces Farm.\r
I now have an almost 4 month old daughter, if she loves horses as much as I do, and would like to learn how to ride then I can think of no one else I would trust more than Mrs. Sheron Lewis to teacher her. \r
