So I recently moved to St. Louis, and I am so happy that I stumbled across Magna Fitness Center. And I do mean stumbled, while it has an absolutely perfect location -- within walking distance of the Galleria, Whole Foods, Borders, and St. Louis Bread Company -- it is kind of hidden on the first floor of a high-end commerical high-rise, Magna Place. But back to my review...the gym was recently renovated and expanded and has state-of-art equipment, tiled locker-rooms and televisions on each of their pieces of cardio. The also has an abundance of qualified trainers, a full class schedule, and free covered parking. Best yet, you can workout without being intimidated or harassed by the meatheads you see at most urban gyms. In fact, most of the gym's clients are business professionals, and uniformly pleasant and engaging.
Pros: Equipment, Fellow Members, Location, Parking, Classes, Locker Rooms
Cons: Only open six hours on Sunday
