Fun for the family 11/21/2005

This is a nice water park, but it is really beginning to show it's age. Things in the park cold really use better up-keep, then maybe they would have a better customer base. We used to go here for field trips as kids, and it was great! Unfortunately, everything there still looks the same as it did back then, so it makes it a little less appealing... more

Big fun for everyone 10/22/2005

Magic Waters brings Six Flags and Noah's Ark in the Dells to Rockford. The ticket prices are not as steep and you don't need to travel very far at all. The Splash Blaster is the big attraction that is like a roller coaster raft ride. more

Best water park in Illinois! 8/20/2005

Magic Waters is the best and about the only water park that you hear of in Illinois. People from all parts of Illinois drive out to Rockford to go to it. The prices are pretty decent, but the price is based on your age and what date you go on. It's great fun for people of all ages. Just be sure to remember to wear some location to prevent yourself from getting sun burned! more

Cool off here 8/17/2005

Magic Waters is conveniently located off of Interstate 90 near Rockford. It is a large water park with many waterslides (tube and body), a lazy river, wave pool, kids area, and a water "roller coaster". There is something for everyone to do here. They have discount admission in the late afternoon. There are chairs to relax on and lockers to rent. You can also rent innertubes to use in the wave pool and lazy river. This is a great place to cool off on a hot summer day! more

Water Park 8/13/2005

This is the only local water park and even folks from Chicago drive in to use it! Its SO much better than Six Flags Great America's water park. The only down side is that its crowded. The price is very reasonable and the rides are great. There's an area for toddlers too, fenced in so they don't escape! Quite nice! If you're a resident check into the seasonal pass, its cheapest to buy in January and well worth the money during a hot summer! more
