Maggie Moo's

I have been to both the Green Hills and Cool Springs locations and loved my experience at both. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. I will drive further to go to Maggie Moo's because their ice cream is the best around... even if another ice cream store is closer. I will go there so I can have my favorite which is the Better Batter (it tastes just like cake batter) and so my niece can get her favorite Cotton Candy... it tastes just like what it says it does, like all of their ice cream.\r \r I have also used them for several birthday parties that I have thrown since their ice cream cakes are spectacular. I have bought ice cream cupcakes, cakes and ice cream sandwiches called ""Maggie O's"" (they are so cute, they look like big oreos) for my parties. I even talked my boss into using their catering for an upcoming office party. I am sure that will be a great day at the office!\r \r Basically if you want to have the best ice cream around drive past the competition and go to Maggie Moo's!!! I love Maggie Moos. The staff is great, and it's a wonderful place to meet up with people to hang out. You go shopping and then go get ice cream. How can it get any better than that? Plus.. um.... it's amazingly delicious!! I love the mint flavors and experimenting by putting different mixins in my ice cream. And I love that they seem to have new flavors every time I come in. more

Maggie Moo's in Green Hills has some of the best ice cream i've ever had - other than my own homemade recipe of course :) We went this last weekend and there was a line to the door, but the staff got through the line pretty quickly and it was definately worth the wait. And I found the kids to be quite pleasant but not over the top. The 'better batter cake carnival' is my recommendation but there's a huge variety of ways you can customize your ice cream. My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this Maggie Moos. They were all so friendly and very helpful with suggestions of what to order! The owner was even serving ice cream and helping out, which was very impressive as he was extremely friendly as well. We will definitely return for more ice cream soon! more

At first I thought all the other reviewers were crazy with all of their 5 stars, but then I realized no one had written a review of this place in the past year. I as well as my co-workers have gone over to Maggie Moos in the Green Hills Mall Shopping area on multiple occassions only to find a bunch of teenage kids with attitude behind the register who could care less if there are 18 people in line or not! They are rude and it took me 40 minutes just to wait in line and when I finally reached the counter I was told that they were out of Chocolate?!?! I'm sorry but this place is ridiculous and I wonder if the manager even knows what kind of service they are providing. If you love Maggie Moos go to the one on West End. They might have a bunch of kids working there, but they are nice and helpful! Pros: good ice cream Cons: horrible service more

My husband and I love Maggie Moo's. We've been to both locations and they're both great. We drive 30 minutes for their ice cream. It's a great treat! Pros: the great ice cream and all the add in's Cons: none! more

Maggie Moo's has to be the BEST ice cream in the world!!! I was in Nashville on a business trip and just happened to stop by for a treat. WOW what a treat!!! I can't wait to go back. It would be worth the four hour drive!!! However, the closest one to me is 90 miles away (one way). I WILL be taking the entire family to that one this weekend!!! This was quite possibly the most pleasing icecream experience. The employees are happy and welcoming while serving at a rapid pace. Even with the store busy with activity, you will be able to get in and out quickly. The fun-spirit and the large variety of Maggie Moo's icecream makes it a hot spot for all ages! I find that the topping definitely makes the ice cream, making it ""worth the fat."" This is the place to make it worth it. The udderly cream with cookie dough is wonderful, but I usually go for the cheesecake ice cream with a couple fruit toppings in the waffle cup. mmmmmmmmmmm..... udderly delicious!! more

It love the Maggie Moo Mix Ins. You can get things mixed in to flavors like ""Apple Strudle"" I get almonds put in that kind. It's great! more

Maggie Moo's is definitely worth traveling for. I have to go to the one near Green Hills Mall since there isn't one in Antioch. But, it is always worth the trip. The variety of flavors and the great toppings are always unique. Pros: great taste, variety Cons: need more locations more

I actually always go to the store in Franklin but I still felt the need to express my undieing love for this place! The dark chocolate ice cream with almonds mixed in makes my mouth soooo happy! This is my new fav place for ice cream but I do agree that the kids working there don't seem too happy to be working. Then again, what teenager is ever happy to be working while their friends are all out having fun? The ice cream makes up for the unhappy staff!! more

Go here for the ice cream alone -- not the service. The young kids don't enjoy the work, but having ice cream fixed your way is just heavenly. I recommend everyone try it at least once, and then decide for yourself whether or not to return. If you don't go based on a review, you'll miss a treat. And the kids love this place!
