We have used Magargee Brothers Painting over the last 20 years. I think they are a premium priced enterprise. They are at the top of the market for price, but you are paying for quality, reliability, responsiveness, and a relationship of trust and confidence. The employees are trustworthy, and the owners are nice and responsive. It is value for the money. They have worked on 3 homes over the course of those 20 years. They have done internal and external painting and have painted everything that can be painted across our various homes. A lot of times you deal with an owner or service operator and don't know the person who is going to paint your house. Magargee Brothers Painting has excellent trades people. We trust them in our home. In fact, during one job we were going to be gone, so we told them that the painters could just live there until the job was complete. We are that confident in them. Magargee Brothers Painting does first class work. If for some reason something is not done up to that standard, they will stay out there until they get it right. more

We have used Magargee Brothers Painting for years. We have an old house, about 80 years old, and it needs a certain expertise and certain understanding of the layers and layers of paint. Attention to detail and the prep work is the most important thing. We have had a very successful experience any time we have used Magargee Brothers for a paint job because they are so thorough with the prep work. They have a good understanding of older houses and layered paint. It is expensive, but you really get what you pay for. I think they are very helpful when listening to feedback and when paying attention to special situations and questions at the beginning of the job. The Magargee bothers themselves are very nice to deal with and very pleasant. The guys that do the painting are generally nice, and I have always had good experiences. more

I am a property manager and I have been working with Magargee Brothers Painting for 25 years. While I do not see the actual work on the site, I work with Dave, who goes to the property and gets the estimate, which I then approve. My experience with Magargee Brothers has always been perfectly satisfactory. I have not received any complaints from the tenants about any of the painting they do for us. more

Magargee Brothers Painting painted my entire house. They knew what to do and how to deal with all of the new paint regulations, including lead quantity. They do everything; they can take things down to bare wood and repaint, and touch up and match colors perfectly. You won't be able to remember where the spot was. They will work with you on colors, and can even stain wood. They did not make a mess. The painters cleaned up after they were done, and took all of their trash home. They even took care of the water from cleaning their brushes. They are all nice people, and very professional. When I call Magargee Brothers Painting there is always someone to answer the phone. They always respond promptly. Emily and Dave are wonderful, and the painters were very nice. Dave runs a good quality shop. I've hired other painters at similar pricing, and their employees were not professional. They didn't have all their details together. At Magargee Brothers Painting the employees have been with Dave for a long time. They take pride in what they are doing because it is their career, their profession. Other painters I have hired cut corners, or didn't clean up, or walked off the job to get a beer on a Friday. I did not have that experience with Magargee Brothers. The price was worth it because of the professionalism, quality of work, and their friendliness. They have good referrals for other related professions; you can definitely take their recommendations. They also coordinate very well with other trades working on renovations. I have a huge house, 10 thousand square feet, and they did a magnificent job. After renovating my house, the painting was really the crowning touch to everything. more
