Wow this place is amazing. My brother-in-law is a local chef and recommended this place. This is a five star restaurant so expect to pay a hefty amount for your meal. Everything I tasted here was amazing. The 7 course-tasting menu offered a wide range of wonderful options. If you have the money give this place a shot. more

If you want to make it special.... 5/12/2006

I took my wife here for her birthday and as an entire dining experience this has been the best place we've eaten in the D.C. area, and we've been to Citronelle and 2941. We don't normally enjoy Italian food, but all the food was wonderful and the amuse bouche were amazing. It's great not only to get the set meals, but little unexpected surprises as well. Some of the amuse were the best I've ever had and I just wanted more. You can also get seats which allow you to view the kitchen as they prepare the good if that's to you liking. The service can be a bit indifferent, but they were efficient and the food more than makes up for any slight shortcomings in that arena. more

Absolute Heaven 4/16/2006

This restaurant, located in the Ritz-Carlton in Tyson's Corner, is one of the top restaurants I have ever been to. It's super-pricey, so not somewhere one would eat every day, but it's perfect for anniversaries, birthdays, etc. The prix fixe meal comes with 5 courses, but that's not all of the food you'll get... There are six different amuse-bouches "courses" in between the main courses. The food was absolutely amazing, and my husband and I were so stuffed that we couldn't even finish the last amuse-bouche they gave us. Two thumbs up. No, four. HIGHLY recommended! more
