Madison's Grill

Seated right away but ignored for 10 minutes until we got up and got our own menus. The server informed us we had the wrong menus and gave us new ones and told us our server was upstairs and would be there soon. Minutes later we were served our water and we ordered at the same time from server #2. We sat unattended for 40 minutes while we saw others around us who had come in 10 minutes later get served their food. Finally when we got our food it was cold and it had tomatoes on the sandwich that had been specifically ordered without. We asked for our check as the food was put down. Server #3 asked how our meal was and we told her. She didn't seem to care so we just asked to pay our bill. We waited AGAIN for her to return with our change. I had a surprise 30th Birthday party for my husband at Madison's and it could not have gone any better. The service was wonderful, the food was amazing, and atmosphere was perfect. We reserved the upstairs and had tons of room left with 30 people there. There is a free pool table and you are away from the rest of the diners for the perfect amount of privacy. We served the pasta buffet, which was great and the cost was very reasonable for a private party. I have also been there for dinner it has been wonderful every time. My husband and I are regulars at Madison's for years and have noticed a consistent evolution to better food, atmosphere and service. The staff is always friendly and remember our names. As soon as our favorite server sees us, she brings us our favorite drinks. We love the hight quality ingredients, and consistant execusion of menu items. The atmosphere is comfortable and the space is clean and organized. Madison's is a special place for many of us. We've seen it grow over the years and as always we expect great things. Madison's is no gourmet haven, but it does simple food well: sandwiches, salads, modest entrees. And the service is terrific when we go in the evenings. more
