Best

fixed my tv and they did it in 3 days great service

Worst

Prior to Week one of the NFL, that Friday, September 9th-10th... I sit down to watch my 57 inch Toshiba HDTV. I press power, and I hear a pop. The sound turns on, but no picture...

Read both this review and the one below from ""Seidule."" DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Absolutely horrible experience. I feel bad for the owner, but it is what it is. It may be time for him to just call it quits. They do not call you back for anything. You will have to call them and good luck getting an actual answer from them. 4 months have passed and billed for a service that did not repair my tv. You will get nothing but the ""run-around."" This is the worst company in Baton Rouge and all of those who put something positive on this site, probably work there or are relatives. They might be friendly, but that's how they get you. They act like they know everything, but at the end of the day, they're pulling the wool over your eyes. Sorry Mr. Madison for having to write this, but I think it's time you own up to it and move on or go to a class that teaches you how to do business professionally. more

The name to avoid in TV repair 1/11/2007

Prior to Week one of the NFL, that Friday, September 9th-10th... I sit down to watch my 57 inch Toshiba HDTV. I press power, and I hear a pop. The sound turns on, but no picture. Disappointing, yes, but I got over it quickly as I called my warranty company and scheduled a pick-up. The pickup went well - the technician was a very old man - 70 something if I were to guess. He was very polite and friendly. However, I question his ability to repair a television. He brought the television back to the shop and said everything should be done in 2-3 weeks. 8 weeks pass. In between this time, I am calling and getting runaround answers. Finally, I call again and they say it's ready - they didn't call me. They bring it in, and the friendly old man is back. As he is plugging in the insides of the set, he says, ""I don't think this goes here, but lets see what happens"". He plugs in, powers up, and POP. An obvious arc occurs. Confused, he says, ""Gotta bring it back in, it must be defective"". Another 8 weeks pass, also filled with runaround answers. Saints are enjoying an off week in week one of the playoffs at this point. I call back, very angry to get a response. They tell me, basically, that they had no intention of fixing the television. I ask very simple questions: When were you planning on telling me about this? Their response: Hang up on me. A few times. Finally, I call my warranty people and they set me up with Advanced Video on Sherwood. I call them. The day after they recieved all the information, they already ordered the part - and here's the kicker - they repair in home!! It's a novel idea Allied, you should try it, but then you couldn't screw your customers out of televisions, time, and money. I have reported them to the Better Business Bereau, not for the 17 weeks of wasted time, but for the phone abuse I recieved in the end. DO NOT USE ALLIED. If you warranty company suggests it, ask them to send it elsewhere. Pros: They were nice about screwing me, til I pointed them out on it. Cons: Everything.. Location, knowledge, service, you name it. more
