Delicious, authentic German fare. It is definitely not the place for light, yuppie food. The roast pork shanks are as good as can be found anywhere. The appetizers, the schnitzels and the red cabbage, sauerkraut and creamed spinach are ""to die for"".
Somehow, Mader's makes potatoes taste better than at home or anywhere else.
Mader's has excellent parking facilities and an efficient parking staff.
I thoroughly enjoy the strudel each time I am lucky enough to dine there.
The decor is half of the fun. The waiters and waitresses are helpful, courteous and efficient.
All in all, Mader's is one of the finest German restaurants it has been my privilege to enjoy.
Pros: Meat entrees, Vegetable side dishes, Strudels
