I have given this company many chances over the last 5 years to provide me with a value added experience, and sadly I can say, I have never felt like they have delivered. They are friendly enough, but when it comes down to time to got to bat for you.... good luck. I recently had the misfortune of needing a windshield replaced and my vehicle is only 2 years old. I called them to handle it, and they push you off to safeco directly. What do I need them for?.... It doesn't end there. Safeco takes the position not to use factory glass unless your vehicle is less than 2 years old. This apparently is somewhat flexible. I was not happy with the fact that I was denied factory quality parts, so I wanted my agent to call and try and persuade them. They said they would, however I am not sure they ever did or try very hard. They told me there was no way. I took my concern back to safeco, and called in the typical manor up the chain of command until they agreed to use factory parts. Again, what do I need an agent for?... If I wanted to do all the work for myself, I would have used an online outfit. About the same level of service. This company is on its third location since I first began as a policy holder. I have been given various oddball reasons over the years as to why policy was reviewed and given a rate increase, the latest being new crash test data that said my vehicles either cause too much damage or are too expensive to fix ( nissan frontier / ford explorer...not very exotic). I recently called around to get quotes and found that by switching I will save on average $60 a month, so they are not the cheapest by far, exactly the opposite... Don't waste your time, call someone else. I wish I had a forum like this to warn me before I took a chance on this company!
Pros: Nice enough when they answer the phone.
Cons: worthless service
