This business is running a hustle with the Groupon deal. They wanted to charge me an extra $30 simply for a darker shade in the same quality tint. I've never heard of anything so lame. They also demanded $100 to remove the tint from my BMW coupe.\r \r I was having none of their nonsense and told them I would simply go elsewhere and get a refund from Groupon because they refused to honor the terms of the Groupon.\r \r They even threatened to tow my car if I didn't move it immediately.\r \r Ha, what a joke of a business!\r \r Btw, they have a D rating with the BBB. Nice! more

Awesome Window Tinters Mesa 11/16/2012

Lifetime warranty and they got me in same day and out in less than a couple hours. Super friendly too. Thinkin I will have them come to my house for an estimate to tint it too! more

Made for Tinting 9/23/2010

I have use Made in the shade on several homes and they have done a great job. I have used them on all of my cars and have been very happy with the job and the service leslie has given us.\r I would recomend. more

Stay Away from Made in the Shade 9/18/2010

The other reviews must have been written by Made in the Shade as their workmanship is not good; the film materials defective; and their lack of courtesy and consideration not acceptable. The had to redo two of my windows because there was a good size bubble in my big picture window that did not go away after 6 months and also my kitchen window had numerous little bubbles all along the bottom. The big window is now just ok. You can still see some imperfections if you look closely. The kitchen window has a defect in the film right in the center of the window. They said if it was still there after 30 days they would come and replace it. I called and they said to wait the typical drying time so I did. I called and rescheduled them to come out and the morning they were to come they called me 30 minutes after they were supposed to be at my home to say they had to reschedule for the following week. The following week I waited an hour and a half after they were supposed to have arrivee more

Made In The Shade Window Tinting is "THE BEST" place to get tinting. 7/16/2009

I've been to these folks twice and both times I was super satisfied with the results AND the price. Some may say they are too high in price, but you do GET what you PAY for and these folks are right on when it comes to doing a professional tint job. I will return and I recommend them highly. I am HAPPY 2/28/2009

I purchased a high quality window film called vkool for my home and car and have been very happy. I like how it allows in light but not heat and it looks great. The service was wonderful and the price was reasonable. They had a great selection and were very thorough in explaining all the options. I will tell all my friends to go to Made In The Shade where you are the coolest! more

In response to the review above, Yes we do operate during normal business hours, not banker's hours! Our automotive department is open for business Monday through Saturday from 8am to 5pm. We do FREE in home estimates Monday through Friday. If you need an estimate for window tinting in your home we are VERY cooperative in scheduling one, however, we do not do evenings or weekends. It is proven that the customer who insists on an evening or weekend estimate, is difficult to schedule if they even placed an order, and more often than not, they end up blowing you off for the appointment any way! Just because we are a small business, does not mean that we don't have spouses, children and personal obligations just like you do. If WE ever need anything done at one of our homes we make arrangements to be available when the service provider can make it to our home! Really, would you insist that a plumber come to your home to fix a leaky sink at 7pm, or expect the electrician to install a new ceiling fan on a Sunday! With most home service providers if you have work done at your home after hours or on weekends, you pay for it! Our estimates are free, there is no obligation to buy, and, we are more than happy to meet with you during NORMAL business hours! Pros: Friendly, Professional, Skilled Employees more

Don't Waste Your Hard-earned Money or Valuable Time Here 9/11/2007

Business must be good for this little outfit because they could afford to be offish. Requested estimate for entire house - guy on phone refused to provide service outside of "banker's hours" & made smart remark that we "should take time off like for a plumber or furniture delivery". Three other places JUMPED at the opportunity to estimate at our convenience for same 3M product, probably less expensive as well. Don't waste your time with this outfit - plenty of other tint companies WANT your business. Pros: Nice ads Cons: Not really intersested in your business; rude more

now that the temperatures are rising in the valley of the sun, go to "made in the shade" they do great work, and the tint is guarenteed. there is a wide price range as there are many types of tint. they also give discounts to corporate employees, ie boeing, motarola etc... more
