Besides the fact that sales person was rude, defensive and full of hot air, the store sells really bad quality pots. I bought two large lavender/blue pots a year ago on The Mad Potter: planted the flowers and set up drop system. A few days later I noticed a lot of small cracks on the glaze surface. The milky gray sandy stuff (particles of clay) started sipping through the glaze. I kept cleaning and scrubbing pots once a week but it never stopped. I never complained Today I went in the store looking a pot with specific design. I mentioned the problem I had to the sales person. He immediately became defensive giving me all kind of stupid reasons, like these pots are there signature pots fired at high temperature or local water is too hard and leaves residue. Well, I happened to be a ceramic artists and I have 2 kilns at home. The water will sip through the pot only when the ceramics are under fired or fired at a very low temperatures. Besides all my other 15 pots that were bought in different places look just fine. I got upset with such poor Customer Service and told the sales person that I should have returned the pots. He interrupted me and said that their store does not accept the returns! If you do not need extra stress in your life, avoid this place.
