Met Chris at my home in Antioch. He was concise, congenial and honest! I was in touch with him during the entire experience. Two men from the Oakland office starting packing on a Saturday. Very hard working and friendly nice guys! On Monday , Jason the driver came and packed the truck with three other workers. There were problems on closing my house up north so I had to put off delivery for a few days late. Macy Movers accommodated me perfectly. They showed up on Friday and did a superior moving my possessions into the house. Macy's Movers are #1 for me. more

It was a seamless experience with Macy Movers. We had a complicated move. I was clearing out my mother's house and there were 4 different locations the furniture needed to go to. They handled it very well and were quick and respectful. The furniture was packed up and moved as if it was beamed to my house. Some of the furniture was old, thin glass and it was all moved without any chip on the sides or anything. In my mind, the move wasn't simple, but they made it simple. Three of the moves were local and one was a long haul move to San Diego. We were all kept abreast of what was going on and we all knew when they were coming. It was seamless. more

Macy Movers Inc. moved our commercial office from an office building to a construction trailer on a construction site. They were very responsive and proactive, and there was no damage to anything that was moved. We had no complaints! I have personally moved myself five times in the last five years, and I've had good and bad experiences. Based on my experience, Macy Movers preempted all the problems that could have come up. When I called them, I was told Chris would contact us to come by and give a quote. He called me within a day, and we were able to schedule a walk through for the following day. He arrived when he said he would, and he got a very reasonable quote to us the next day. They were able to schedule the move for the date we needed, and they gave us a reminder call the day before the move. When we had a problem and had to reschedule the day before the move, they were able to accommodate us. They gave us advice before the move about what we could leave in drawers, and what would need to be packed separately. They offered us free boxes. Everything went as expected because they gave us such clear information in advance. We were ready to go, and they got the job done in the allotted schedule! They came in under budget, and everything seemed to go slightly better than we were expecting. When you're working with so many different people on a move, it's really great when something goes so well! more
