At the start of this season they would drive over to the house and look at the lawn and drive off telling me that they felt it didn't need cutting. The following week they blew us off again. They said that I had fresh concrete. It was poured 3 days before they came. It had the forms removed the same day they needed to cut. The crew never got out of the truck to check the sidewalk (that was set) or come to the door to ask. Now my lawn is over 8 inches long and going to seed. I called and said since you made the call on not cutting it I want you to bag it. They charged me to bag it! On the 3rd week they're a no show again. I called Johns cell and that was when a crew pulled up! I hung up the phone thinking that there here! They weren't it was another company. Than my phone rang! John called me back and was in a mood and argumentative. He told me that ""If they miss my house don't wait until Wednesday to call me about it!"" Like it was my fault!( they don't answer the phone after 11am so WTF!) That's when he told me ""I had a crew go down and were behind so you not getting your lawn cut today."" No ""Hey I'm sorry"" or ""Your a valued client I will get lawn done and chat with my guys about the sidewalk issue."" Just blather and attitude about being the cheapest around! Not true! I dropped their service after 4 seasons blowing me off for one reason or another and found another service for the same price that will bag it! Sorry John you have no one to blame for this but yourself and your crew. Not me.. Good communication skills could have saved this client. Not so

As long as we have a client that has an open balance with us we keep all info in out system. And I have apologized about your lawn not being done previously. I'm not going to argue with you about this. As in your business, there are always people who will need lawns mowed or meals cooked. After 12 years and growing, I think I'm doing something right. Your opinion is your right. I'm not going to disagree and tell you that I did all I could to keep your business, because at the time I didn't. If things were different perhaps I would've handled it differently. To bring up competition, I'm sure if you look hard enough you can find someone that will mow and bag your lawn for less than what you pay even now. My cost of operations doesn't allow me to mow anything that cheap. If I chose to dump lawn clippings illegally, not provide adequate pay to my employees and insurance for the company maybe I could work for less. Then again, I'm in business to not only do the things I just spoke of, but to make money and eventually retire.
Thanks to all the found money, old age and LAZINESS I will always have a job.
