Best Summer Sausage I have ever had! 11/14/2009

We drive make our way to Machenthuns as often as we can. Not such a small trip as we live in East Central Iowa. However, this is the only place to get summer sausage. The smell of frying garlic sausage bring back memories of Christmas with my grandmothers. Can't wait to make the trip and stock up for the holidays! more

Meats and more...MEATS GALORE! 1/25/2009

Full service butcher shop in a great small town! Phenomenal steaks and chops! Mini-marinated varieties on weekends so they are prepped for you. Sausages and bacon are terrific! Awesome meat and fire sticks! Delicious jerky and great sandwich deals! Recently started making various salads and desserts. Great, knowledgeable staff! more
