Never go back again 11/8/2005

We were not told that salads were included so we were charged for the salads we ordered. Our plates were icey cold so needless to say the food was barely warm. Service overall was awful. We hadn't finished our entrees when we were asked what we wanted for dessert. Overall, there are too many Italian restaurants in this city to waste your time or money at this place. Pros: easy parking Cons: lousy service, cold food, zero customer service more

A great find! 9/10/2004

I went here with the fiance a few weeks ago and am actually going again tonight since my first experience was so good. The first time we went it was early (5:15-ish) since we had somewhere to be, and the place was absolutely empty. It kind of scared us, but we decided to try it anyways and we're glad we did. The food was very reasonably priced and quite tasty; we even had leftovers. I'm glad we found this place! Pros: inexpensive, tasty good more

Editorial
  • Men in ponchos playing Peruvian tunes welcome diners to the long, cafeteria-style tables in the front dining room of Machu Picchu. A smaller room in the back provides a more intimate dining experience. The menu features authentic flavors of the Peruvian countryside and unique signature dishes. Seco de carne a la Norteña is a family recipe of marinated beef with cilantro served with beans, rice, and onions. Pescado a la Chorrillana, salty grilled fish, is served in a creamy tomato and onion sauce with fried potato. Canary beans with onions and oregano make for a flavorful side dish.
