I read so many scary reviews about the service at Maaco, that I decided to walk out if I was being mistreated. The person named in all the complaints is no longer with the company. Good Sign. I went in and got a quote from Alan Wallace. He gave me a wide range of options from $600 to $1700 to paint my 2005 Toyota Corolla, depending on what I wanted done, and how good of a paint job I needed. . They would sand down the hood, roof, and trunk to bare metal, as these were the spots that were horrible. The rest of the car was in pretty good shape I asked if he wanted me to pay, and he said I would pay upon pickup ""when I loved my car."" Good sign. I dropped my car off on a Monday, and was promised the vehicle back on Thursday. He called me on Wednesday to let me know that my car was ready- 1 day early. Another good sign. He also said it was beautiful. I could hardly wait. I went to pick up my car, and he was right. It was beautiful, and I did love my car again. Gone was the ugly peeling clear coat and the oxidation. I had a smooth and shiny gorgeous new paint job. Not a single bit of overspray. I can not recommend this place enough. I don't think I could have come even close anywhere else. In my book, this place is 5 stars and I would definitely bring my car in if I needed any future work. Thank you Alan and the entire Maaco staff! I will try and post my before and after pics as soon as I can. more

I had my repaired by another shop and they took 3 months to get it back to me. I had my taken to Maaco after a recent accident and it looks great. Plus it was done in 2 days. I had an excellent experience here. I brought my Tacoma in to have painted black. Outstanding work from these guys, extremely high quality for the price, and it was done in a timely manner at that. They even pulled out a bunch of my dents, knowing how badly they would stand out with my new paint job. I dealt with Alan, who was extremely friendly and helpful. He and all the guys in the shop seem to take pride in their work and a personal interest in not only the vehicles but the customers as well. I overhauled my whole truck but the focal point is without a doubt the deep high gloss paint I got at Maaco Pearl City. If I ever have issues with paint or bodywork, I know where I'm going. more

We had our 2000 Ford Mustang completely painted and we couldn't be happier with the work. Alan the sales person who helped us, didn't try to oversell is on anything. He even recommended changing the color from red as it was cheaper to do so. We decided on black and he recommended a black that really shines and makes the car stand out. He understood what I was wanting and the budget I was wanting to stay it. The end result is the car looks brand new and Alan and the Maaco team exceeded all of our expectations. We will definitely be brining our BMW in to have it painted here as well. They have earned a customer for life! more

I had my window smashed in a Chinatown garage. When I arrived I was greeted by Al within seconds of parking my car outside. Very welcoming... they quickly sourced the glass and fixed it as good as new! more

My experience with Maaco was top notch. They quoted me a price and when I hesitated to drop it off right then and there they sweetend the deal with a free car rental and dropped the price $150. I wanted to ask the wife first at lunch and asked if it would still be a valid offer after lunch. They agreed and I dropped it off after confirming with the wife. The vehicle had several scratches and small dings on almost every part of the vehicle and they did a great job on repairing each one. The paint job looks great, the customer service was great, and over all satisfaction was high. I would recommend them to anyone who asked. Allen was an outstanding customer service rep proactively calling me to let me know the vehicle would be an hour or two late and then calling back to change it to an earlier time. Highly recommend. more

We almost bought a new car because our 2002 was fading and peeling. We are so thankful that we did not buy a new car and had Maaco paint it for us! There are many choices and grades of paint available. We took a more expensive package, around $1600, that has quality UV protection paint with a four year warranty. The car looks brand new! It was so fast too! We dropped off the car on a Monday morning, went across the street to Enterprise for a rental car, and picked up our shiny ""new"" car on Thursday. The service and quality were both exceptional. The workers seem to really enjoy their jobs and their kindness is what counts. One of the employees even helped me put my daughter's car seat in the rental. This is a very friendly business that really helped our family. Mahalo. more

I gave this 5stars cuz of they great service and the work i got what i was looking for a great paint job at a great price all other shops were going to charge me 3times as much to paint the whole vehicle. And i was honestly surprised at how good they paint job came out. Thanks again maaco i will recommended you guys mahalo more

maaco did a complete body and paint job on my 1998 mazda 626 on 10/12. They took four days. Total cost came to $1450. I am very satisfied. Car looks new. Colin was helpful and the service was great. Other places wanted $4,000 and $5,000 for doing the same job. I was skeptical at first, but im glad that I chose maaco. more

Just had my 2001 Hyundai Elantra repainted at this location, and am very happy with the results! The service was friendly and efficient, the turn-around time from drop off to pick up was only a few days, and the car looks fantastic! Most of all, the price was reasonable, and the staff was very clear about what the price included. Further, they seemed genuinely concerned that I was happy. The team at Maaco was great. I have a 1963 T-Bird that needed so much body work, i was embarrassed to even drive it there. Alan Wallace came outside and gave me a quote to take care of the entire car and paint it like new. When he called me and said they were done with my classic car, i drove there and when i seen the car, i was so happy with their work. I, myself use to do body work and paint many years ago and i can tell you that the team at this Macco in Pearl City, knows their tomato's!!\r Thanks one again for the great job and friendly customer service. more

I had my 1998 Volkswagen Jetta painted in October 2009 and they did a very good job with a reasonable price. They were courteous and completed the job on time. more
