We recently went to this little gem after searching for BBQ places on the peninsula. Anticipating authentic southern BBQ, we were not dissappointed! We ordered different entrees so that we could all sample a little of everything. When the first entree arrived, we knew we were planning on coming back. Both the fried chicken and catfish were some of the best I've ever had, with the perfect balance between meat and batter, crispiness and juiciness. Sweetsweet fried goodness. mmmm. Furthermore, the beef and pork ribs were tender requiring almost no effort to pull it off of the bone. At the end, the waitress and cook that served us made sure we were all satisified, only adding more to the "family" feel we were hoping to get as well. Visible when driving on S. 101.. this place is a real find in our never-ending search for good take-out southern style BBQ. The selection is good and the prices are reasonable. I ordered the 2-way meat combo with pork ribs and fried chicken and my husband ordered the 3-way w/ beef ribs, brisket & fried chicken. The meat was succulent and flavorful. The portions are huge and each dinner comes with a choice of two sides. Much better than Armadillo Willy's at a better price point to boot! Pros: Great Service, Great food, Great Prices more
