love that ginger root tea 10/18/2007

This small restaurant serves up some great food. I have only been disappointed once when I asked to add some spice to my fish. I was given a peppery paste (i figured it would be really hot) that I stuck my fork in and lightly rubbed over my fish. Can u say 4 alarm blaze???!!! I'm not sure what kind of peppers they were ..maybe scotch bonnets (definitely hotter than jalepenos). It was so bad I couldn't eat the rest of my food. But that was my fault for asking for some spice. Other than that ..the food was great. They have a good day variety on the buffet with vegetables, curry/jerk chicken, plaintains, corn bread, ox tails....all yummy. I don't like the fact that you pay by weight of the food...but that does help your eyes from getting bigger than your stomach and your pocket. Pros: ummmm its basically all good Cons: pay by weight more
