Better than Jo-annes 10/13/2005

In my opinion, this store is way better than Jo-annes if all you're looking for is art and craft supplies. Jo-annes is a HUGE store, but when it comes to prices, I'd much rather be in Michaels. Shopping at Michaels is actually a great way to inspire some interior decoration. They have art and photo prints that you can hang up in your house for rather cheap prices and other decorations that you can paint and decorate yourself. Kits are a bit pricey (but it's like that anywhere) since all you need is right in the kit. I went to Michaels yesterday and they were having a pretty big sale and I bought some relaly nice 2006 calenders for only $1 each!! You know...random sales like that always happen at Michaels, haha. more

The Everything Art Supply Store 8/8/2005

These guys have everything for the crafter or artist. It is also a store brimming with home decorating ideas and supplies. I can usually find what i need, though the always seem a bit short-handed. Parking is easy. Good prices on most items. Impressive selection of dried flowers & baskets. Silk flowers too. A good store for wedding decorating items. more

Your crafting superstore. 7/14/2005

I love the fact that this store contains so many different items, that every time you go in you're going to discover something new. There's always something that you can just admire and look at, and gape at the difficulty of, while there is also something for people of all level. I sometimes find it hard to find someone to help me, but normally it's okay, because the layout is excellent. Also, the aisles are a bit skinny if there are too many people, but other than that, this is a great store! more
