I visit my local Michaels, once again, AFTER Halloween to get the most for my money. They have cute items to use to decorate my home the FOLLOWING Halloween. I have picked up ghost votive holders, items to hang on my door or walls that reflect Halloween, scarecrows for my front yard, as well as items that light up! I also have picked up things for school such as Halloween themed stickers and sponge shaped Halloween items for arts and crafts. The teachers truly appreciate the donations. You could use a 40% off one item coupon found in the paper IF you can find something that isn't on sale...that coupon doesn't work on sale items! more

This store is located at 13 Mile and Gratiot, right next to Toys R Us. I love this store because they have everything you need to supply a birthday party, decorate for a wedding or your home, as well as paint supplies and flowers and seasonable items. I like their Saturday classes for kids as well as their do it yourself classes. Just give them a call for a schedule. I also suggest utilizing their 40% off coupons found in the Sunday ads. You can also bring in JoAnn coupons. Michaels will honor those as well. Their weekly sales are GREAT....so great that I can never find a reason to utilize my 40% off coupon!! If it is on sale already, you can't use the coupon on it! Bummer!! Staff is nice and pleasant and accomodating!! Buy an item for a gift every time you have a 40% off coupon and you will be set for Xmas! more
