I don't usually don't write reviews as I believe a business stands on its service and products which Maxwell's does. What prompted me to write was the nasty review by ""Lew"". Clearly he must have been having a bad day. I've been going there for many years and consistently have received nothing but the best as far as service, products and advice. Don't be misled by one slanderous review full of false accusations. Any bozo can rant and there is no way to fact check them and they know it. See for yourself. This place is the best. I needed window blinds for my apartment. I walked in and was very rudely treated - owner was on phone (a social call) and made me wait 10 minutes. Then acted like I was bothering him. Then tried to sell me most expensive products, trashing competitors etc. Obviously didn't care about what I wanted. I have looked around for awhile before finding this shop on 44th and Judah. There is no comparison to the selection and service. I am hooked. I am ready to redecorate in another room and have some window covering replacements. They make great recommendations and actually saved me money from my original selections. I'll be back.
