I TRAVEL FROM NEW YORK TO CALIFORNIA FOR WORK.. I REALY HAD TROBLE FINDING SOMEONE OUT HERE TO CUT MY HAIR AND COLOR IT!! I WENT BACK TO NEW YORK, EVERYONE HATED MY HAIR . THEY TOLD ME WHICH WAS TRUE, THAT IT WAS UGLY AND MY COLOR WAS WAY TO TO ORANGE, AFTER GOING TO ONE OF THOSE HIGH ENDED BEVERLY HILLS SALONS.. THEY REALY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING...SO A FRIEND OF MIND IN NEW YORK REFERED ME TO VANESSA AT M2 STUDIO SALON IN BURBANK.. AND NOT ONLY DID I LOVE VANESSA'S PERSONALITY,BECAUSE SHE IS VERY LOVING AND FUNNY... SHE FIXED MY FRIED DRY ,DAMAGED ,UN EVEN HAIR, SHE COLORED AND MADE IT A BEAUTIFUL RICH BROWN!!! SHE GAVE ME A FULL BODY MASSAGE AND SHE ALSO DOES PEDICURES!!! SHE IS SO TALENTED.. YOU KNOW SHE LOVES WHAT SHE DOES YOU CAN SEE IT AND FEEL IT..SHE IS ON IT... SHE LISTENS TO ME AND REALY TAKES HER TIME IN GETTING IT RIGHT!! SHE IS ALSO A MAKE UP ARTIST FOR THE PAST 13YRS.. ... SO I WILL BE SEEING YOU FOR NEW YEARS GIRL!!! I got a haircut with Katie last week. Unlike other hairstylists, she actually LISTENS to me and understand that I didn't want too much hair chopped off. 2.5 inches really meant 2.5 inches, unlike 4 or 5 somewhere else. I recently moved to LA from Canada and was in need of a new hair stylist. I found M2 on CitySearch and decided to go to the salon for a consultation. I was setup right away for a consultation with Teagan. I was originally wanting to do a drastic cut on my hair, and Teagan was completely honest with me. She took the time to discuss what I wanted and why I wanted to change my look. She was not rushed during the consultation, it made me feel like her client even though at the time I wasn't. It is very rare to find a hair stylist that is honest with their clients. I then decided to make an appointment with Teagan to get a full head of blond foils and a cut. I pretty much left it all up to her - the shade of blonde she chose and the length and overall style of my hair (all I knew was that I wanted to keep my length). I am extremely impressed with the overall look of my hair, and would recommend Teagan most definitley and especially if you are unsure about a hairstyle/color/etc. There isn't much parking around, there is a valet lot across the street, or free street parking a couple of blocks down. I found M2 through citysearch and decided to give it a try. I live in the Torrance/South Bay area where there really is no good hair salon. I initially wanted to dye my hair lighter ( my natural color is black, but I previously had highlighted it, so it was this weird brown gold color . I had an appointment with Tegan. So when I met her and told her what I wanted to do to my hair, she told me not to go lighter because it would not look good with my skin. I also wanted to do something with my eyebrows so Tegan told me to wax them. I have never had my eyebrows waxed, but thought I would give it a try. Pamela was the one who waxed them. The outcome was wonderful! I love my eyebrows now!! I never knew they could look so good! So, Tegan convinced me to just dye my hair back to black, because it will look better, so I did. I am soooo HAPPY I did because I absolutely love it black again! And the layers that Tegan gave me are awesome!! Thanks Tegan and Pamela! I will definitely be back!! It is soo worth the drive!! more

Oh my, I had a problem with "really" oily skin. I found my cure! It was the most wonderful experience I've had in a very long time. Pamela is wonderful. After my facial, I dont have to worry about my oily face. She knew the right things to use according to my skin type and lifestyle. My face has not looked this great, glowing and that "Mat" finish look in a very long time. It's been 2 weeks! It's still going on strong. "Oh ya baby, looking good".Thank you Pamela. I had Katie cut my hair last Fri. I wasn't sure what to expect since I had never been to M2 Studio Salon & Spa before. I was pleasantly surprised! Not only did Katie do an exceptional job on my hair cut, but she also really listened to my concerns about my hair and took the time to help me figure out what kind of hair style I wanted. I got my hair done a couple of weeks ago by Katie. She did a wonderful job on a layered cut for me, which is holding up great, and some really nice two-tone coloring which I've gotten lots of compliments on. I knew what I wanted when I went in, but Katie made some really good suggestions and really knew how to make what I wanted look best. And she took her time--I didn't feel rushed at all. She also gave me some great styling tips which have shortened some time and frustration when doing my own hair! It was a great salon experience and I will definitely go back. more

so i'm a very picky person when it comes to my hair. i moved out to los angeles in 2003 and have been looking for a good salon. back home i used the same sylist through out high school and college, and i couldn't find anyone out here that matched what i liked so much about her. well, i went online and decided to search for a salon that way instead of going to the mall (which i admit i've done). i came across m2 and saw that it was rated 10 out of 10 and read all the reviews. my friend was also looking for a new salon as well, so i suggested m2 to her. she liked it so much that i decided to give it a try. i figured i'd start out small, which really wasn't small, and get my hair highlighted. katie did a really good job. i really like it, and now i have all these ideas that i might want to try with my hair. of course i'll run them by katie first. she really listens to what you want, or the idea, and makes suggests. i like that. i'm excited to come back and see what she'll do with my hair when i get it cut. see ya ladies in dec. :) more

I needed to find a new salon, and I found this place on citysearch. I decided to give it a try, and I am very pleased with the results. So its been a couple of months since i got my hair colored and cut so i had been checking out city search for salons in the area and m2 poped up with great reviews. so i thought i would give them a chance and i got Katie as my stylist. All i can say is my hair looks amazing i got my roots done and she put some fun highlights and put this beautiful glaze all over and i dont think my hair has ever been so shiny. the best thing is she new all about her products and why she was using them i purchased a couple of things and not only does my hair feel great i can style it almost as good as she did. I am new to LA, and was disappointed in another salon I tried. M2 and Katie were awesome though! My hair had gotten heavy and boring, but she made it light, bouncy and fun again. Today, I was told I looked like Tara Reid because of my hair... The salon is cute and fun, and everyone was super friendly! Katie put me at ease after my last bad experience, and took the time to give me great hair care advice, besides giving me the best cut I've had in a long time. Just got my hair cut today at M2 salon and I absolutely love it! Vanessa cut my hair and she was simply amazing. I have never had a hair cut I loved this much nor have I ever walked out of a salon feeling so good. I walked in not quite knowing how I wanted my hair cut - just that I wanted a trim and my layers cleaned up a bit - but Vanessa knew exactly what would look good on me, and she worked WITH the texture of my hair and my face shape to give me a wonderfully flattering cut. The entire staff was so warm and friendly, and the cheerful atmosphere was so unlike anything I've ever experienced at a salon. My eternal search for the perfect salon is over. One thing: other reviewers have said that parking was a bit inconvenient, but I had no problem - I just parked on the curb of one of the residential streets nearby and walked over. more

Based on the wonderful reviews for M2, I decided to go for my touch-up. My appointment was with Katie and she is terrific. Instead of doing low-lights with my touch-up, she ran the touch up through my hair by strands. It toned down my hair for the fall and everyone loves the color. I've already booked my next several appointments with her. I can't wait to see what she does when she gives my first cut. Thanks again Katie and M2. Bonnie Pros: Professional and welcoming. I was visiting from phoenix, the sun has caused an unwelcome 2-tone on my face. I entered M2 and was suddenly feeling at home, the 2 story gives it a loft ambiance. The skylights and serene environment is refreshing and relaxing. Pamela Daniels gave me a facial, something I rarely do, surprisingly enough i notice a difference. I won't lie, it's not like the 2 tone disappeared! How ever, it was less noticeable, i can see a difference in a single session! Not only that, she requested to give my eyebrows some shape. When we were done, i felt So Fresh and so clean, i loved my NEW Eyebrows so much i went and cut all my bangs to show them off all the time. Yes that good: ) And the facial came with a very nice message around neck and shoulders hmmmm...... relaxing. I give this place, Pamela and the location 2 thumbs up. Everything is super close, a Sushi place downstairs, Mexican restaurant across the street, boutique around the way and i got my nails done across the street. I am always going to Events and need professional hair and make-up done!!! Last week I lucked out, Thanks to my co worker I went to see Katie to get ready for a function and I was so happy to do so. She is a very beautiful girl with a lot of talent, she made me feel special, She listened to my needs gave me some feed back and then got to work. She styled my hair and did my make-up which lasted all night. I left there looking flawless!!! I am going back next week for a hair cut. Pros: Close to the studios more

I followed Pamela to M2 because she gives the best facial I have ever had. I started going to her over 3 years ago and can't say enough about not just the quality of the facial, but how she evaluates your skin each time you see her. She can tell if you need more water, if you're under too much stress (and who isn't) and her massage always leaves me feeling 100% refreshed. The room is peaceful, clean, perfect. I recommend getting 1 facial from Pamela, compare her to any other facial you've had, if it isn't the best, I would be shocked. Pros: easy access, great facials, organic products. more

ok first can i say pamela is Amazing not only is she good and what she does she know how to do it to. i got an amazing facial by her she used a product called elike or something like that i have to say i have never seen my face glow the way it does now and her massage during the facial was amazing to. she is definitly the best esthestian in town. i will be back as soon as possible. thanks again pam!
