I have very thick curly hair and it can be difficult to do. But the owners do amazing work. They are very expeienced and I highly recommend getting your color and cut here. Yolanda cut and colored my hair. I have brown hair and she put a a color in my hair that had a violet red tint to it, it came out absolutely beautiful, then Maria dried it for me and it came out so smooth and straight. I ALWAYS get compliments on my hair. It is pretty inside and the owners are very kind. You feel so comfortable in there and relaxed. My friends and I sometimes make a night of it and get out hair and nails done there at the same time. I live about 60 miles from the salon, but for me they are worth the trip! more

I recentley had my eyebrows threaded at M.Y. Salon in Arlington,ma. I normally have them waxed. I cannot praise this Salon enough. Anu did an amazing job. My eyebrows came out perfect and we all know how hard it is to get our brow perfect. I highly recommend this salon and not just for brows. All the services are great and the pedicures at this place are out of this world. more

I just have to say this salon by far is the best salon I have been too! I went to a very expensive place in Boston, and had my hair cut by someone who I thought was a professional. Well he completely butchered my hair and I looked like a boy - I was so upset. I looked in the local yellow pages to find a hair salon near where I lived and found M.Y Salon. Maria made me feel so much better, the minute I met her. She took a lot of time with me and said that she could definitely make me look beautiful again! Well, she did. Everyone in their, Yolanda, Laurie, Maria, made me feel so special, and took very good care of me that day. After I was done - I looked like a million bucks! I have been going there ever since! The atmosphere is beautiful, and everyone in there actually does care about you! I would recommend this place to anyone!! They're better than the salons on Newbury!! more

I tried M.Y. Salon after seeing an ad in the local paper. I went there for waxing because it was a convenient location. All of the stylists were kind and welcoming. Both sisters, Yolanda and Maria, were friendly and took pride in showing me around the salon for all of their other services, including pedicure, hair cutting and coloring, and facials. They are still renovating and improving the interior, but I will definitely go back to try their other services. more

Words could not praise this salon and day spa enough. My experience was fabulous. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. I had my hair colored and cut. The color was absolutely beautiful and my cut was exactly what I was looking for. The stylist actually listened when I was explaining what I wanted. I travel constantly for business and have the best of the best work on me. And to think, One of the best is right here in Arlington. You would be crazy not to try M.Y. Salon. more

I am a bit of a salon addict. I try a new one every three months thinking I can find something better, cheaper or nicer. M Y Salon is owned by a group of sisters who make the experience great. They have all had careers in the salon industry and recently came together to open this salon in Arlington. Parking at the location is a slight problem (as in, there are only 3-4 spaces) but their warmth make it worthwhile. The prices are reasonable and even though there are much cheaper salons in the area, I like how at home you feel in the salon. They use top of the line products and truly respect what you want in a haircut/style/color. Their other salon services (manicures, pedicures) are great too. more
