Appt 6/22/2011

The experience was great considering my son had a filling for a cavity. He let me know it was not as bad as he thought. personally, I was hoping it would be worse for him so he would be more aware and care for his teeth. He surely loves going to the dentist thanks to the staff at Dr. Lyon's staff. more

i was very impressed with our visit. the play area they provide is perfect. and everyone in the office that we encountered was so nice and helpful. the visit went smoothly and my son and i both felt comfortable the whole time. they work amazingly well with the children compared to other places i've been to. even the people at the reception desk were great! i had to call before we got there to ask for directions and they were more than willing to be patient with me and provided easy to understand and follow instructions on how to find them. now i can look forward to dentist appointments for my little one instead of dreading them. more

First Visit 6/13/2011

This was out first visit to the practice. We were a little early but they fit us in and we were out way ahead of schedule. From the first initial phone call to seeing the dentist everything about this practice speaks of excellence. I would absolutely recommend this practice to family and friends. more

Dentist Cleaning 6/2/2011

The appt was exceptional for my son; he loves to come. I was the one who had some concerns about the visit. When I got to speak to the Dentist who was not Dr. Lyon, I was overwhelmed with the findings and felt pressure to make appts quickly to resolve his new findings. He had originally got the appt for filling but it ended up being for a cleaning... I was sure I made it for a filling. I was informed from the front desk the 6 month period expires so they go into cleaning then take new X rays. He had this done and taken and the Dr. found he had supernumary teeth and a baby mowler was still in place and he needed braces.... I felt pressure to handle tooo much information and had to state clearly to the doctor that I wanted to handle the cavity and the protective coating first then I would want to discuss next steps.. more

The nurse/assistant and the Dr. were both very kind and thoughtful of all My granddaughters needs 5/19/2011

Kayla's visit was very successful, she understood all that was being done and eventhough she had to have a tooth extracted she did not get upset. Thank You. more

My daughter needs significant dental work and everyone at Dr Lyon's office has been kind, courteous, professional and patient. From the front office staff to the dentist, we have absolutely no complaints. There are many dentists closer to us but we choose this office because of the quality of care. more

Tooth extraction 5/9/2011

My six year old son had to have one of his baby teeth pulled. The Dentist and assistant were wonderful. He had very little pain. He did not even realize she was pulling the tooth till after it was over. he went home and was up and playing in no time. it was wonderful. MY kids have been seen my this office since they were 3 I would recomend the office to anyone. The front desk staff are also wonderful more

Excellent 5/4/2011

Colby, my 8 year old and I were very pleased with your service. You made my son feel very comfortable and relaxed. Even though this was just a consultation, someone at his age going to new Doctor or Dentist tend to be a bit scared. Wonderful 4/27/2011

I was hesitant about having my 3 year old get his cavity filled. I was afraid that it would make my son dislike going to the dentist. I went ahead and scheduled the appointment. He went. He did awesome. And he still loves going to the dentist. The staff was great. more

Good checkup - very long wait 4/14/2011

We have been going to Dr. Lyon from 10 yeasrs. Up until the last 2 visits the wait has been reasonable. The last few times we have been at the office for 2 hours. WHile I have 2 children, it is ridiculous to have to wait 30 minutes for the first cleaning and then another 30 minutes after the first cleaning is done to have the second cleaning. then another 20 minutes to see the dentist. The cleanings and dentists are good though more

Accomodating, Professional and Courteous 4/12/2011

I have been going to Dr. Barry Lyon and Associates for about three years and have never had a bad experience. There is never a long wait to be seen and my family has always been treated exceedingly well. The movie room and free games give my little one something to do while his sisters have their appointments, they always have interesting reading material for me, up to date magazines while I am waiting on my kids. I don't mind the 30 minute drive because I know it will be a relaxing time for all. I know that some of my colleagues bring their children here as well. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist or ortho for their children! more
