HORIBLE CARE OF THE HORSES 10/28/2010

PLACE IS A HORROR SHOW FOR THE POOR HORSES THAT LIVE THERE. THE ARE MADE TO LIVE IN BACTERIA INFESTED STALLS THAT ARE NEVER FULL CLEANED, DEODORIZED, OR DISINFECTED THE LIGHTS ARE TURNED OFF ALL DAY LONG SO THE HORSES ARE KEPT IN DARKNESS. THEY ARE NEVER BATHED OR SHAMPOOED EVEN AFTER WORKING FOR HOURS IN THE HOT SUMMER. I HAVE WITNESSED HORSES BEING TRANQUILIZED BEFORE GOING ON THE TRAILS. IF YOU LIKE RIDING POORLY CARED FOR HORSES THAT MIGHT BE DOPED UP..THEN THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU more

Excellent for beginners 8/19/2005

Lynn's Riding School is located near Forest park in Queens. There is another stables that services this park, but Lynn's is better for beginners, and lets face it: Most New Yorkers don't know which end of the horse is the front! I would recommend trying Lynn's even if you have never come near a horse in your life. The horses are extra gentle. As a bonus, Forest Park has some of the best bridle paths in New York City. In fact, you will have to keep reminding yourself that this wooded oasis is actually IN New York City. more
