The food is extremely fresh, well prepared, well-served and delicious. My breakfast was very well done, with organic eggs cooked perfectly, homemade toast, local meat, and organic potatoes. The service was top-notch and very helpful. The atmosphere is charming. The business is eco-friendly too! Why would you eat anywhere else? Must visit again! more

LYNDON FREIGHTHOUSE 12/15/2006

Imagine yourself dining in the casual relaxed atmosphere of an authentic 1870 railroad freighthouse. Here you'll find great food, lots of history, Starbucks coffee, a gift shop featuring the work of over 80 crafters, and more. My sister took me out to lunch here and it was awesome. the soup was delicious and service was excellent. The Lyndon Freighthouse is also home to Carmen's Ice Cream, a local favorite that offers over sixty flavors of hard and soft ice cream with shakes, flurries, banana boats... all made to order. The Lyndon Freighthouse also has a working model train in the gallery, FREE WIRELESS INTERNET access, and an information center with helpful maps and brochures. more
