Luxe a Boutique Salon

This salon is super cute and everyone is very friendly and welcoming! Since moving to Austin about a year and a half ago I've been going to Christine for hair needs and Zahra for skin needs. I found them through my neighbor who highly recommended them. Christine gets it right every time whether it be color, cut or style! I look forward to my appointments and totally trust her ability to do what I had in mind if I come in with a vision or to suggest something that would be best for my hair and face type. I get a lot of compliments, especially when she styles my hair for events. I go to Zahra mostly for facials and eyebrow waxing. I used to do my own eyebrows, and now that I get them done by Zahra I will never go back to doing my own! It took a few times to get them to look the way they do now because we had to reshape them, but now they have such a wonderful shape and are always so clean looking. Zahra's facials always leave my face so smooth and hydrated. All of her products are organic and smell amazing, and even if I come in with different needs from time to time, it's ok because she adjusts to my skincare needs. The salon also has a boutique shopping aspect to it, which is always fun and convenient. They display clothing and accessories every season that are available for purchase. It can be dangerous and tempting to have it so readily available, but it's really cool that they offer that and the products are always unique. The return policy is very strict but that's understandable since it's a boutique. more

I found Luxe when I moved here from Dallas. Ellie was assigned to me, as I was a new client. Ellie has not disappointed! She knows hair! I leave there loving my hair even more each time. She listens to what you want and helps you understand what your hair is capable of and what to do to get it there. I highly recommend Luxe, specifically Ellie, if you want to feel pretty and love your hair! more

This is the only place I go to get my hair done! I've seen Ellie for years and always absolutely love my hair after she does it. I trust her and love trying new things with my hair and she always delivers! The actual salon is very beautiful as well, everyone I've talked to is always very nice and helpful. You can schedule appointments online which is VERY easy. I've never seen anyone walk out of here unhappy. I definitely recommend this salon! more

The Best! I have tried several top salons over the years. I highly recommend Lisa. She takes the time to listen and look over pictures (if you bring them) and interprets your vision into exactly what your wanting. I have been going to her for a few years now. Love the Luxe Salon. Friendly atmosphere and beautiful natural light with very nice furnishings. Tiffany is the best hair stylist i have ever had. So lucky to have found her. She rocks it for both hair color and cut which is difficult to find. And shes super sweet too. This was my 4th visit and i have always been very happy. Amazing! Love the salon and all of it's ladies! I especially love all of the natural light beaming in so you can see the awesome highs and lows of any hair color. Everytime I go I always leave so happy and relaxed :) more

July 9, 2013\r Have been having my hair done at Luxe since they opened and couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Elegant, yet oh so friendly and masters at what they do. I go to Zahra also for waxing and brow tinting. She is an artist. Even a top rated makeup artist in Houston asked where I had my brows done, because they were the best she had seen! more

Recevied a recommendation for Nina from several friends who have great haircuts. My first appointment was with her yesterday and she was great! Listened to what I wanted & offerred suggestions on what would look best before she even started to cut my hair. Explained how to style and dry my new cut & suggested products that would work well to keep it looking great - Very pleased! Also the salon is great and everyone there is friendly! more

I used Luxe for mine and my bridal party's hair and makeup for my wedding near there this past weekend. All of the ladies at Luxe were very nice and accommodating. They chilled our champagne for us, there were no problems with the scheduling, and they listened and followed the wants and needs of all the girls. I had a GREAT first experience getting my hair cut by Christine Collier. I enjoyed Luxe... nice ambience, good location, not pretentious. I feel like I got an expert hair cut for a really moderate price. Totally pleased.\r \r One of my biggest observations is that Christine was willing to educate me about what she was doing the whole time... I felt like I understood my hair better because of it and I was also confident that Christine understood my hair. She also gave me a tutorial on how to style my new cut and how to best blow-dry it, based on my hair's characteristics. She is really the best kind of stylist. Chelsea at Luxe is incredibly talented. I moved her from Massachusetts and have been thrilled with my hair. She goes above and beyond for her clients. I was there the day before Thanksgiving and was having trouble finding a spice I needed and she had someone phone around to grocers to locate it for me so I would save time. So, in addition to an incredible stylist, Chelsea and the other professionals at Luxe are top in customer service. Highly recommend. more

We have lived in Lakeway for six years and I have bounced around to several salons, until I was referred to Nina at Luxe. She does an excellent job cutting and styling, and that is truly an art! She is also an expert at color. I am so happy to have found her. I get compliments on my hair all the time! more
