I brought in a black pant suit which I needed the pants let out. I had previously brought it to this cleaners to be taken in (a few years ago). When I got the suit home after the recent alterations, I noted they had cut up the waistline and only partly removed the earlier alterations in which the seams were taken in. The charge for this service was $15. When I returned to request a repair of the damage done, she refused to either complete the repair/fix the damage or to refund the cost. This left me with a suit with no pants. When I advised this was unacceptable and she needed to either repair the damage she had done or refund my money she refused, starting screaming at me, and called the police to say that I was harassing her. When the police arrived, I explained what had happened. They were unable to get her to do anything other than complain that I was ""mean to her"" in expecting her to either fix or refund. Long story short, I was left to take my pants to another cleaners to repair her damage at further cost. Needless to say, I will no longer frequent this cleaners and urge others to be careful to check repairs BEFORE paying for the work or taking the clothing from the premises.
