Lunchbox Cafe

Been here twice now, and both times it was about the same. Average at best food; pesto was bland, meat on kabob bland, rice overcooked a bit, but nothing terrible, just all very average. Service is questionable, they don't have much to do but seem very disinterested in doing it. The first time I went the guy behind the counter was so high he had trouble remembering the name of the cafe. The second time after a whatever type encounter, he proceded to take a chair and sit directly next to the door smoking a cigarette; if he was doing that on my way in I never would of went in to eat. The dispassionate service combined with average at best food makes this a place to stop only if you happen to be right there and hungry at the moment, but considering the area, there are plenty of better options. more

I was referred to this place by a friend because I was getting sick of other sandwich places in the area where every sandwich tastes pretty much the same. Fast forward a few weeks, we order lunchbox at the office on an almost daily basis and are left satisfied everytime. All the ingredients are fresh, the flatbread(which is AMAZING, even by itself) is baked by their own bakery, service is prompt, and staff is very friendly. My favorites include the roast beef and the turkey with pesto. But I still haven't tried anything that I dont like. Pros: Great food, fast delivery, friendly staff, always satisfying. I eat here at least once a week...it's close to work and I've loved every sandwich. The owners are really personable and I highly recommend the food. The tuna sandwich is some of the best tuna I've had, and although I always plan to try new sandwiches...I'm stuck on this one for now (I'm not even a tuna guy). I also recommend the rotisserie chicken sandwich with garlic sauce. Good stuff. more

Lunch at The Lunchbox is a treat! My husband loved the mushroom pizza. My favorite is the turkey pesto sandwich, packed with thinly sliced turkey, pesto sauce, cheese, tomatoes and lettuce on their signature flat bread. The service is friendly and the selection is so good, I will definitely be back to try more from the menu. more

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lunchbox cafe is by far one of the best places to cater your lunch. They are extremely efficient, and friendly, not to mention the food is GREAT. I eat there on a regular basis because I enjoy their sandwiches very much. Most recently I placed an order for the office (20 people). We ordered pizza, sandwiches, salads and drinks. My favorite was the soujook pizza (mild armenian sausage pizza). You must try it to believe it. The food arrived on time and yes, the pizza was still warm. We cater a lot in my office and many times the pizza arrives cold and sandwiches soggy. They have a great variety of unique sandwiches and pizzas. Not your traditional next door sandwich shop. Another one of my favorites is the tuna salad sandwich. You won't be disappointed with any of their choices. Try them out. If you mention city search they give you 10% off your catering order. One of my co-workers catered a birthday party on a Saturday afternoon. Same results. Excellent service.......I definitly give the 5 stars! more
