Keep the attention of your customers longer 12/10/2008

I have used Lunchtime Catering since before it was Lunchtime Catering. I will keep using them due to their commitment to me as their customer. Their food is always fresh and well made. I have just recently started getting their hot lunch for groups of 20+ and I have been able to keep these people around longer thus keeping their attention to promote my products to them more thoroughly. Their banana pudding, ham, chicken, broc. casserole, corn and rolls will make your customers sing your praises and listen to your pitch. Thank you Lunchtime Catering. Pros: Reliability, no hassle, inexpensive, friendly Christian folks Cons: no more tea cookies more

My Only "Lunchtime" Caterer 5/12/2008

LunchTime Catering has become the only caterer that I use for lunchtime business meetings. In the past I have tried to use different caterers to give variety because we have a business lunch just about everyday. Not anymore! After so many bad experiences with various caterers in Nashville, I decided to only use LunchTime Catering. I can vary the menu each day so that everyone can choose to eat the same lunch each day or try something different. I have only received positive comments from my guests and business associates. My boss has even told me to continue using only LunchTime Catering. He likes the food, prices, and the fact that the food always arrives on time. I can't say enough about the friendly, easy to work with staff. The food is always fresh and consistent and I always end up feeling like the hero because everyone always compliments me on the food. Normally a typical lunch for our office is anywhere from 10 to 75 people depending on the type of meeting. However, a couple of weeks we were having an annual meeting for business associates from around the country including our corporate offices. We needed to feed 600 people for two days. So without hesitation I called LunchTime Catering and told them what I needed. They handled my order promptly and professionally as usual. The food arrived promptly for our annual meeting. Once again everything was fantastic and I received rave reviews on LunchTime Catering. So this review is to say thank you to my friends at LunchTime Catering for always making me look so good! more

A+ Catering Business 4/30/2008

My company recently opened offices in Nashville TN. I work out of our corporate headquarters in Washington, D.C. I am in charge of event planning and finding catering for various functions is part of my job responsibility. It is not one of my favorite job responsibilities due to the fact that I have found that their are many lousy caterers across the country. So when I was told to find a caterer for a two day event in Nashville with 300 guests attending each day, I was less than excited. I started searching and found LunchTime Catering through Citysearch. I found nothing but positive reviews on Citysearch as well as other sites. I emailed LunchTime Catering with a few questions and received a prompt informative email from Tandy at LunchTime Catering. I continued by placing my order. Of course other questions arose and I had to keep adding guests. Nothing I asked for phased Tandy. She continued to honor my requests and answer my questions promptly and professionally. She made suggestions when needed. The first day of my two day event arrived and I have to say I was not nearly as nervous as I have been in the past. I called that afternoon to talk with my company on site event organizer to see how everything had gone. She said that everything went perfectly. The food arrived on time and with rave reviews. I asked so you would recommend LunchTime Catering for our next event in Nashville? She responded, "highly recommend". Now that is what I like to hear, but I rarely get that response. I just wanted to let anyone out there that has to find catering for out of town events........If you need a caterer in Nashville, TN you should call LunchTime Catering. They are a very professional catering business with a friendly staff and great, fresh food that arrives on time. Thank you to Tandy and the rest of the LunchTime Catering staff. Finally a caterer that gets the job done and done right. L.Withersby Pros: Professional, Reliable, Great Food, Reasonable Prices, Can Accomodate Large Groups Cons: Wish LunchTime Catering was in other cities! more

Great for Business Lunches! 4/21/2008

I work in the Music Row area and my company uses LunchTime Catering on a weekly basis. I have found this catering company to be reliable and professional. The food always arrives fresh and on time. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Our clients and/or guests always enjoy their lunches. We normally have our lunches delivered but on a few occasions we have waited to late to order, and they have been booked for deliveries. LunchTime Catering is very convenient for us to pick up the order. They are located in The Gulch Area. There is not a parking or traffic problem like have encountered from other companies. I have had nothing but a positive experience with this catering business. I would highly recommend this business to anyone. Great Food, Great Service...... Consistently! What more can you ask for? Pros: Great Food, Great Service, Great Prices more

Great Locally Owned Catering Business! 4/16/2008

I am through ordering from the big restaurant and catering chains! After my last experience with a big chain restaurant that also caterers, I will only be ordering my business lunches from LunchTime Catering, a locally owned catering company. Last week I had a near catering disaster. I had ordered from a well known lunch spot that also caterers (you see this business popping up on almost every street corner). I called early Wednesday morning to confirm and was told that they would not be able to deliver my lunch until 12:30 or 1:00. I had ordered over a week in advance and had booked an 11:00 delivery. I was also told that they would not be able to direct bill my company and that I would need to pay upon delivery. Needless to say I cancelled my order. I had noticed LunchTime Catering delivering often to other offices in our building. So asked one of the other offices if they would recommend LunchTime Catering. They said they would highly recommend them. So I called and my order arrived on time and everyone loved their lunches. I called to let them know that everything was great and that I would be using them for all of my business lunches. That is when I fould out that they are a locally owned and operated. I have to say it is nice to know there are still family owned businesses still surviving in this big corporate world we live in because bigger business doesn't mean better business. I have definitely learned that! more

Best Lunch Caterer in Nashville! 3/26/2008

When I am feeding 30-50 people for lunch, I want a lunch that is appealing to everyone, not just a select group of people. That is what I have found in LunchTime Catering. I get a great, fresh, and filling lunch that everyone can enjoy. I receive more positive feedback on LunchTime Catering than any other lunch caterer that I have ever used. I have used caterers that have honestly been an hour + late. Not with LunchTime Catering, I have never had a large group of hungry people waiting on their lunch. I have found that simple and good is what goes over the best. I have paid $12-$15 for a mediocre lunch that looked pretty. I had much rather spend $6-$8 on a fresh, tasty, and filling lunch. I would highly recommend LunchTime Catering to anyone that is looking for a fresh, consistent, filling lunch that will arrive on time. I am still looking for the same in a caterer that does sit down dinners for my more formal business related dinners. Any suggestions? Pros: Everything! Cons: Don't do formal sit down dinners more

Simplicity At It's Best! 3/8/2008

Finally I have found a "lunchtime" caterer with a simple lunch menu consisting of good, fresh food. I have used LunchTime Catering several times over the past two months and have been extremely satisfied with the food quality, customer service, prompt delivery, and simplicity of their menu and ordering process. I would highly recommend LunchTime Catering to anyone looking for box lunches or party trays. Their sandwiches and salads are fresh and filling. Their sides must be prepared on premises because they do not taste like the usual pre-packaged sides. The cookies are amazing. Their prices are very reasonable. I don't normally take time to write a review, but LunchTime Catering deserves some credit for their food and service. I always feel like my business is appreciated when I call LunchTime Catering, and Dorothy is a delight. Thanks LunchTime, your are the real deal when it come to catering! Pros: Everything! Cons: Nothing! more

Simple Menu/Great Fresh Food/Friendly Service 2/23/2008

I am an avid fan of LunchTime Catering. The name obviously sums up what they do. The menu is simple and the food is great. Some catering companies I have used in the past focused more on cute and fancy than on good and filling. LunchTime Catering has the perfect food for lunchtime. Your guest will enjoy a great healthy, but hearty lunch. I like the gourmet box lunch because my guest always have a great lunch and an afternoon snack they can take with them. My guest always thank me for a great lunch. And when I schedule my next meeting my clients almost always ask if I will order from LunchTime Catering. LunchTime Catering has made it easier for me to schedule sales meetings with my clients. Next time you need a "lunchtime" caterer that you can count on, give LunchTime Catering a try. They will become a great selling tool for you as they have done for me. Christy A. Pros: Simple Menu, Great Fresh Food, Friendly Service Cons: Hopefully will open for walk-in lunch in the near future more

Ham'N Goodys/LunchTime Catering--------Better Than Ever! 2/16/2008

Dittos to all of the previous reviewers. I thought LunchTime Catering was my secret, but obviously not. I was also a very loyal customer of Ham'N Goodys. I do have to say that they have taken their specialty, box lunches, and made it better. I would recommend this catering business to anyone. I have been a satisfied customer of Ham'N Goodys, now LunchTime Catering for 15 years. They are the real deal, just a local business that still cares about food quality and customer service. Thanks LunchTime! Pros: Food and Service Cons: I still miss stopping to pick up a sandwich on West End more

Great Food/Great Service/Great Prices 2/16/2008

LunchTime Catering Rocks! I work in the music industry, and I use LunchTime Catering on a regular basis. I have used their party trays for video shoots, concerts and business parties. I have found their box lunches to be perfect for our advertising presentations and staff meetings. Our company Christmas party was a huge success thanks to the wonderful holiday dinner catered by LunchTime Catering. The food and service is always exceptional and the prices are extremely reasonable. I agree with all of the previous reviewers and just wanted to continue the praise for LunchTime Catering. So for anyone looking for a catering service that won't let you down, should call LunchTime Catering. You will be glad you did.......I sure am glad I did! Pros: Food, Service, and Price more

Great Sandwiches, Salads, Cookies and Teapunch 2/11/2008

Love this place! Our boss treats us to lunch every friday. Since being referred to LunchTime Catering by a friend about a month ago, we have ordered our lunch from them the past four Fridays. The food is always fresh, delicious and filling and our boss also likes the price ( considerably less than other places we have tried). We also have sales reps that have lunch catered to us a few times a month and we are now requesting that they order from LunchTime Catering. You would think that we would be getting tired of the same lunch, but we haven't yet. Some of us try something different every time and some order the exact same thing. Everyone has been happy with their food on each occasion. Needless to say we really look forward to Friday's more than ever. Our office highly recommends LunchTime Catering. Can't wait until Friday! Pros: Awesome Food and Customer Service Cons: None more

Consistent and Reliable 2/8/2008

Since moving to Nashville I have been amazed at how unreliable and inconsistent some of the restaurants and catering companies are in Nashville. I have found that the restaurants that also cater seem to be the most unreliable and the food quality is continually inconsistent. I have used some of my favorite restaurants for catering my business lunches and have been very disappointed. I mentioned this problem in a sales meeting back in November and asked if anyone had any suggestions. Some of my business associates laughed and said that I needed to call LunchTime Catering. So I did and I haven't used anyone else since. My food is always on time. The food is excellent and it is always consistent. When I call to place an order I am off the phone within a couple of minutes, unlike some places that I have called in the past. The staff is very helpful and friendly and they know their business. It's unbelievable how many businesses have employees that answer the phone and don't seem to have a clue as to what they are doing. This is definitely not the case with LunchTime Catering. I am very excited that I no longer have to worry everytime I order food for a client. LunchTime Catering is a simple, reliable catering company that always delivers nothing but fresh, consistent food. So to anyone else that has had the same problem that I had with restaurants trying to cater food........Give LunchTime Catering a try, you will not be disappointed! Pros: Reliable Service and Consistent Food Cons: Only in Nashville more

Awesome Party Trays and Box Lunches 1/31/2008

I have always had a great experience when using LunchTime Catering for my catered events. I have tried their party trays and box lunches. I have been extremely pleased with both. I usually call at the beginning of the month to reserve all my dates at one time and then call back with my orders. I order anywhere from 20 to 100 lunches at a time at least 10 times a month. I always get positive comments from our guests. I even keep extra menus on hand because someone is always asking if I have a menu. The staff at LunchTime Catering is extremely friendly and easy to work with. After reading the reviews left by others, I see that I am not the only satisfied customer. I'm glad to see that LunchTime Catering is doing so well because I honestly don't know what I would do without them. Thanks to the staff at LunchTime Catering for the great food and for always taking care of all my catering needs. I will continue to highly recommend you to everyone! .........I can't wait until I get to eat another one of your great sandwiches and yummy cookies!43w Pros: Food and Staff Cons: Construction in The Gulch Area (if your picking up your order) more

Great Caterer for Business Lunches! 1/21/2008

I am an office manager for a doctor's office at Vanderbilt hospital. LunchTime Catering is the only caterer that I will let our pharmaceutical rep's use when they cater lunches to us. I have been extremely satisfied with their catering service. The menu is very simple. The food is consistently fresh and tasty. There is minimal cleanup and this is very important when you are trying to feed your entire staff using minimal space and time. LunchTime Catering is alway on time, and that is always a huge relief because we are an extremely busy office and getting off schedule is not allowed. I have heard many complaints from other office managers about some caterers in Nashville. I just give them a LunchTime Catering menu and tell them to let LunchTime cater their next lunch. I later receive a huge thank you, and LunchTime Catering receives another loyal customer. So to anyone that has "find caterer" on your to do list, call LunchTime Catering and check one item off your to do list for good. Thanks to my friends at LunchTime! You all have done so much for me, and I just wanted to do a little something for you. Pam Pros: Great Box Lunches and Party Trays/Prompt Delivery/Efficient Service Cons: No Dine In Seating for when you want to get out of the office more

Highly Recommend for any Holiday Occasion 11/26/2007

Thank you City Search for your reviews. I recently started a new job as an office manager. I love my job, but it is hard to be in charge of the holiday office luncheon (it's hard to please everyone when it comes to food). I was told that last year's Thanksgiving luncheon didn't go so well. So I went to City Search for help and found LunchTime Catering. I had used Ham'n Goodys in the past and because of your reviews I learned that the Ham'n Goodys on West End Avenue was now specializing in catering as LunchTime Catering. This was a comfort to me, so I went to LunchTime Catering's website and decided that I would use them for my office Thanksgiving Dinner. I ordered the holiday dinner at $7.95 per person. I had to please 125 people. This was a great decision, the food and service were excellent. We enjoyed their honey glazed ham , baked turkey, cornbread dressing, gravy, amazing rolls, greenbeans, cranberry salad......I'm sure I am forgetting something. Anyway, I know how hard it is to please people with food. But I am highly recommending LunchTime Catering to help someone else out. You will not be disappointed. I have already started my job as Santa Claus. I have ordered Party Trays, Hams, and Turkeys for our clients. Now I can get back to what I was hired to do. I just wanted to help someone like me. Happy Holidays! Pros: Lifesaver during the holidays Cons: None more

Perfect for catered lunches! 11/1/2007

I recently moved back to Nashville from Birmingham, I discovered that Ham'n Goodys was gone. I use to use them for box lunches. I am a phamaceutical rep and my job requires alot of catered lunches for the Doctor's offices that I call on. One of my clients asked for their lunches to be catered by LunchTime Catering. I told them that I had never heard of Lunchtime Catering. That is when I learned that it was a new catering business started by the former owners of Ham'n Goodys. That was a huge relief because since moving back to Nashville I haven't been able to find a caterer that I really liked. I couldn't find anyone that was consistent with their food and always on time. But that problem has since been solved. I use LunchTime Catering for all of my sales luncheons. The food is great, always consistent. My lunches always arrive on time and the staff makes everything so easy for me. I recommend LunchTime Catering to all of my business associates. Pros: Great Consistent Food, Accommodating Staff, Prompt Delivery Cons: None more

Great Box Lunches, Prompt Delivery 10/31/2007

Thanks to the previous reviewer. Your discovery is very much appreciated. I had know idea that LunchTime Catering was the new catering business from the owners of Ham'n Goodys on West End Avenue. I have already used them twice since reading your recommendation a few days ago. And I couldn't agree with you more. They have taken their specialty (catering) and made an even better business. The change was also better for me. I also used Ham'n Goodys for catered events so the change to LunchTime Catering seems to have focused and perfected the catering portion of their previous business. Food is even better, delivery very prompt, and very friendly staff. Nice website, very user friendly. Thanks again to laneysmiley you just made my job alot easier. Now I can focus on my clients without having to worry about how my catered lunch is going to turn out. And that is a huge relief in my profession, because I have had some really bad experiences with some caterers that I have used in the past. Pros: Great Box Lunches, Prompt Delivery, Friendly Staff Cons: None more

My favorite cateter found! LunchTime Catering 10/28/2007

I was a loyal customer at Ham'n Goodys on West End Ave. I am a sales rep and used them for business lunches. However, late 2006 they were gone, and I was devastated. But I found them, new name new location but better than ever food and catering service. LunchTime Catering is the only place that I use for my sales luncheons. I'm not big on change, but this change was even better for me. Just thought other Ham'n Goodys loyals might appreciate my discovery. I guess I am giving out my best kept secret. The main reason I am even writing this is because a few days ago I was told by a client that my catered lunch was the best ever. I thought someone deserved some credit. Thank you to my friends at LunchTime Catering, you are the best!!! Pros: Perfect for catered lunches. Cons: None more
