I found Ricky !!! 7/8/2010

When Luna Studio closed i found Ricky at Tricho Salon in 12 Oaks mall Novi. 248-305-9111. Just thought i would let the others know where to find him. He's so dedicated to perfection and actually cares how good you look and feel ! He does the japanese straightening and Keratin Frizz relaxing which worked so great on me. The humidity does not ruin my day anymore. This and a great cut was a relief. Hes not only a great stylist but hes so much fun to talk to . He makes you feel comfortable. Pros: Hes so passionate about his work. Cons: He will make you not want to leave more

Bio Ionic Straightening 6/4/2010

Maradith was the best hair stylist I've had - I had the worst frizzy hair and Maradith ""cured"" this problem! My first treatment lasted ~8 months and the second lasted a year. I was ready for another treatment a month ago and found out that the salon permanently closed and had a treatment done all the way in Grand Rapids and wasn't ANYTHING like this - I'm so disappointed that this salon isn't around anymore. Does anyone know if Maradith is still working somewhere in MI or in the surrounding Detroit area (northern part of OH, etc)? I don't care were it is...I will drive 3 hrs away if I have to to get the treatment I want to work. I used to go overseas to get my japanese straightening done and then i discovered that the same treatment is available here in the states. I found luna studio and Michelle. She did such a great job. My hair is shiny and straight. I will be back! more

Wouldn't go back 2/5/2010

Had a cut and color. When I made the appointment they told me that it would be $100. They charged me $130. I walked in with haircut that I didn't like and expressed what I didn't like about it and what I wanted done instead. I walked out with a shorter version of what I came in with. The stylist acted like she understood what I wanted, but that's not what I got. I feel like my haircut looks outdated with the layers that were put in. I did want layers, but not what I got. The color is just ok. She left dye on my face and neck and when I washed my hair the next day, hair dye was washing down the drain. The only fix would be to make the cut shorter, and I already took off 5 inches and I dont want to go any shorter then that. Cons: Haircut looks nothing like I asked for more

I love love love my hair. I am always scared trying someone new but i am so glad i did. I wasn't happy with my hair but i heard so many great things about luna studio so i thought i would try. I got to meet sarah, she is an awsome hairstylist who listened to everything i said. she was very friendly and so sweet, and not to mention she did an amazing job on my hair. I will not let anyone else ever touch my hair. All i have to say is Thank you so much sarah your the best. Pros: everything more

Best Color and Extensions in Town 1/5/2010

I've had several different types of hair extensions in the past that have damaged my hair. I had a consultation with Erin for color and extensions and setup an appointment for both a week later. Erin colored my hair and put in Dreamcatcher extensions....I absolutely love my color and extensions! I highly recommend Erin's services to anyone who wants color, extensions or cut. Do you Want to Feel Fabulous and Look Beautiful? 11/22/2009

Luna Studio is a great place to get your hair done for anyone who wants to look their best. When I first went to Luna Studio my hair was an ugly mess... orange, yellow, brown and looked like a skunk had run over it. From the minute I entered the hair salon I knew my hair would finally be fixed. All the staff are extremely welcoming, energetic and top notch hair stylists who not only are extremely knowledgeable but care about making you feel your best. Time For Change 10/11/2009

Being a professional over 30 year old woman, I look for an elite studio able to provide me with a stylist who knows current trends and more so how to match them to my features. Kara was able to transform me in to a woman that people take notice of. She took the time to understand my likes and dislikes, and explained to me what could be done before doing it. The products of Luna Studio are the best of the best. The environment is top notch and yet very comfortable. As I am complimented on my new style I always recommend Luna Studio and Kara. All us girls deserve a great new look! Pros: Upscale/comfortable environment - Quality Products - Kara Cons: Not a one more

Awesome Salon 9/20/2009

This salon was a different experience from any other i've been to. You really feel pampered there. From the hair stylist (Michelle Grabill) actually listening to you, and helping you figure out exactly what would look great on you, to the staff catering to your needs. They offer you free beverages of anything from water, tea, coffee, pop to beer and wine. I would def go back! Pros: They treat you like royalty more

Amazing color and highlights 9/13/2009

I recently went to Luna Studio and I've never experienced anything like it, I asked for the works and go everything from my base color to lowlights/highlights... I asked them what color line they used as my hair has never shown so much color depth, they told me Goldwell. my hair has never looked so amazing... after talking and getting to know my stylist ( who was just too cool) she told me that she was actually a Goldwell educator , her name was Dawn and she was simply a true artist. I highly recommend Luna Studio. Pros: amazing creativity and color Cons: not more Luna Studios around town more

Normal Hair 9/13/2009

I have always had the most challenging, rebellious hair and I have always been kind of depressed about it for all of my life. I complimented a coworker on how nice her hair was and she laughed cause she said her hair texture use to be the same as mine, until she went to Luna Studio for the Japanesehair straightening process. She said it worked wonders for her hair, so I called and made an appointment, went to the salon for a consultation, and they even had a special going on for $100 off the process. After the process, I can't tell you what that did for my self esteem and to actually have normal hair after so many years... I love my hair, thanks MIchelle and Luna Studio! New Extensions 9/13/2009

I have been getting Great Lengths extensions for years now and I found out at Luna Studio that do do a type of extension that does not involve glueing them in or damaging my hair and was much more affordable. They brought me in for a consultation, explained the process and quoted me a affordable price. They put me with Erin and when they brought me in to actually put them in, I left the salon so happy and amazed at the 21 in length that it added to my hair and the volume that my hair hav never been able to achieve. I have had sever girlfriends ask about them and where to get them. Thanks Erin and Luna. Pros: Great prices more

Fall Mkaeover 9/8/2009

Fall is my favorite time of year, and I always look forward to my ""fall makeover"" and I have been looking for a new stylist with lots of knowledge and creativity and i found her in Michelle. When I met her , she was trendy, and fashionable. I gave her my ideas and she added hers and then something awesome happened! she made me very content and I feel like my search for a new stylist had paid off! Saved the day! 9/8/2009

I recenetly made the mistake of going to a local salon and they turned my hair orange! I cried for days! I found Luna online and booked a appointment with Gjoni and I couldn't have been happier. I was embarrassed to walk in their with the way my hair looked, but after assessing the damage, Gjoni worked his majic and all was well. I'm not quite sure how he did it, but I'm just glad that he was able to fix it! Thanls Gjoni and thaks to Luna! Pros: Genius staff more
