Lumberjacks

We're a local hotel that offers a free sit down breakfast at this restaurant. We have always provided a breakfast to our guests that would be more filling and more desirable than a stale bagel and warm glass of juice. We've tried several options and several local businesses to met our need. Lumberjack's has really risen to the occasion and provided great food, huge portions sizes and good customer service. The servers have been pleasant and helpful with not only the orders, but even with suggestions on what to do and where to go in Redding As a local resident I have eaten here often and have found the same great food and service that our guests have shared with me and my staff.. As a businessman it's important to me that we support our local businesses, but more importantly we serve the visitor and guests to Redding with our best - Lumberjack's does just that. Pros: Large portion sizes and Quality food Cons: Sometimes too busy - what a problem! more

Good service paired wit h well priced food. Felt very welcome and at home here. Wished we could have stayed long enough to sample dinner. A great value. Pros: Friendly service, accessible to I-5 and Redding Hotels more

Have been there many times, and have always been impressed with both the food and the service. All employees are very friendly, and they seem to go out of their way to make you feel at home. Pros: Food and service are first class Cons: difficult to enter parking lot unless headed east more

Not much to it. It's Denny's with a different look. The food is average (Denny's like) and the service is about the same. The real difference is you pay more here then you do at Denny's. To many better choices in Redding to bother with this one. Pros: location Cons: price, only "average" food more

As the name suggests they give large portions and the food is good for a Diner/ Coffee shop ! more

I found the offerings not much better than your average Denny's or IHOP. Service was good and the menu was quite varied, but that's about all the positives. There are much better choices in the Redding area than the standard diner fare offered here. Pros: Service, Menu choices Cons: So-So Food, Diner atmosphere more

Has very good food and great service. The price is right, you get the lumberjack feeling. more

Easy on/off. Good food, nice atmosphere, great customer service. Serves breakfast all day. Senior menu for smaller appetities. Very glad we found them! more

Lumberjacks was remodeled but the food still tastes like Lyons. A bit pricey. Pros: Always seating, Salad Bar more
