Good antique mall 9/27/2005

The Lumber Mill is one of the biggest antique malls in the Madison area. Located right on the Ohio River, in an old …you guessed it, lumber mill, it is three stories of antiques, collectible and treasures. You'll find books, glassware, furniture, jewelry, dish ware, toys and just about anything else you can think of. You need to be able to climb stairs to do the lower and upper levels, as I don't think they have an elevator. Individual merchants rent out space in the mall, so the offerings vary from booth to booth. It's lots of fun to take some time and wander through. more

You can spend the day here 8/18/2005

The Lumber Mill is by far the best antique mall in town. I can spend literally hours in there. With over three floors of antiques, you'll absolutely find something, whether you're looking for it or not! For the serious antique hunter, this is more of a early 1900's- 1950's collectibles store so don't expect any FINE antiques. Prices are reasonable and, if you're a budding antiques dealer youself, you can sell one or two pieces on consignment without have to rent your own booth. more

One of Madison's Biggest Antique Malls 8/7/2005

The Lumber Mill is located in downtown Madison is just up from the Ohio River, located in what use to be a working lumber mill (hence the name). Vendors rent out spaces from the owners, so there is a lot of variety on the three floors of this antique mall. Offerings range from pottery and glass to textiles and tools, with just about anything and everything in between. Most will find the prices reasonable. There are a three levels in this mall, so be prepared to do some stair climbing. Parking is available in front of the building. more
