I am not a usual visitor of the ""DRC"", but i try to stop in to get a refreshing IPA that is one of the best ive tasted this side of the river~ im not going to try to talk up the place nor am i going to talk it down~ i like the beer on draft, i like the price, and i like how close it is to where i live. i like the back room they have known as ""The Stables"" and i like the atmosphere there on late nights. i like being able to take my favorite beer home with me. i like the price of my beer to be less than gas~ haha even though im paying around 3~ a glass its worth it. i have never ate here, i have even obtained free gift certificates to come try the food. i just have not had the time to try anything off the menu. maybe i will get some deep fried mushrooms (if they even have them) next time i stop in. We held our class reunion here, and the food was pathetic (cheap steak was like fried liver, frozen desserts, chicken breasts cut in half.) The bar staff was friendly and tried hard to overcome the lack of selection in our ""premium"" bar package (nothing better than $10 bottles, no blender). The management came up several times to yell at the bar tenders for who knows what. I do not recommend this place for any group events. Go to the Doubletree across the river instead. We took my in-laws to dinner here a few months ago. The heat was on way too high and we were all uncomfortable. My husband tried the light ale and didn't care for it. My steak was undercooked and I had to send it back to the kitchen. The restaurant was empty, but our server still seemed too busy to check on how we were doing. The bathrooms were remodeled, but the lack of cleanliness was atrocious. We did not have the best experience and I don't think we will return.
