Yummy! 7/7/2005

Great food but a little pricey. Don't leave without having desert for sure! Great place for brunch. Pros: desert, brunch more

Disapointed 11/21/2003

The food portions were way below what is advertised, 5 very thin slices of medium lamb do make a rare boneless rack of lamb and the sauce was watery and without flavor. Yet the price was above what most fine resturants list a comparable dish for. It will be a while before I return Cons: very expensive, menu misrepresents, portions very small more

Lulu wants you to join her for Dinner 3/30/2003

If you live in Memphis and haven't eaten at the Lulu Grille, shame on you! This is, without a doubt, the best little eatery in town. The people who run Lulu are Memphians who cook food for Memphians. The food is gourmet without being expensive or pretentious. The restaurant is conveniently located right off of Poplar but is tucked away just enough to allow a nice atmosphere while dining on the patio. The food is phenomenal and the service is attentive without being annoying. The desserts are just as good as the entrees, if not better. They make some of the best creme brulee around. Do yourself a favor, don't go to Folks Folly for dinner, go to Lulu Grille. Pros: Atmosphere, Food more

  • The Scene
It may be tucked away in the back of a little shopping center, but that just makes finding this culinary gem even more rewarding. Once inside, the surroundings are roomy and comfortable. Attentive servers direct their guests to just the right dish, making suggestions as diners peruse the menu.

    The Food
Generous portions of melt-in-your-mouth dishes lead up to some delectable desserts. Filet mignon, osso buco, grilled venison chops, salmon filets, pastas and duck cover all the bases from meaty to veggie. The menu will undoubtedly razzle dazzle diners with its wealth of ingredients--herbs crust racks of lamb, mushroom marinara bathes homemade ravioli and saffron rice cushions shrimp in a fruity sauce. After dinner, sip an ap?ritif and choose from one of Lulu's luscious desserts. Who can resist a cr?me brulee and a cognac?
