Good: The hair dresser I had was great!. Bad: Paul. Improvements: As a cancer survivor obviously what may be no big deal to others a $1,000.00 hair peice to a 22 year old was a very big deal. Paul (the owner) had cut my hair as I saw that my hair piece was cut too short to my liking I started to cry. I didn't have another hir piece andI didn't hace an axtra $1,000.00. When Paul saw that I was crying he immeaditley got defensive and started yelling at me. Needless to say I have never been back and will never go back. I know that the salon does just fine without my. Other: business... I can only hope that Paul has not made anyone else feel as bad as he made me feel that day. This was many years ago but I still remember it.... more

I live in Port Chester NY and will travel to Yonkers just to see Mel for a perfect cut.Everyone there is wonderful.They are so warm and make you feel like you opinion matters.My highlights always come out perfect.I've had them done at other salons where damaged hair is what I left with.Anyone who goes there will leave very satified.I promise.Amy more

Everyone is entitled to an opinion so I have to say that I love what Marissa does to my hair. The color is always spectacular and the cut is just what I want. Even when I have just a hint of an idea of what I want, she makes it a reality. Everyone loves my hair thanks to Marissa! I love going there! more

Bad: Save yourself the time, just don't go here. Overall environment is full of women who are catty, disrespectful, passive digressive and inexperienced. The entire experience was uncomfortable and I felt embarrassed/upset with my haircut and the money/time I had wasted. I have chosen to give this dim salon a poor rating in hopes of helping them improve their work space.. more

I got the worst haircut ever. I would have done better to go to Supercuts. In addition, they supersell all the products used. more

Good: The woman who answers the phone had a great personality, very friendly spirit, & specific! I called other salons to get a feeling and Adam & Eve's was the place to be! My appointment was with Marissa who is absolutely sweet, she's courtesy & she gave me suggestions that we went for. I received a wonderful look in return & was very thankful she listened to what I wanted! I am a new mom of a 3 month old & Marissa was perfect with timing, color, etc & everyone enjoyed my mom holding my sleeping angel.. Bad: The price could be cheaper but with the way things are handled & the way they make you feel it's all well worth it!!!. Other: When I need my hair done again I'm so def going back & making an appointment with Marissa. Also if anyone asks I will def say Adam & Eve's is the place to be along with recommending Marissa!. more

If u want a hairstyle that is suited for u be sure to request hairstylist Nicole. She will work with u and the final outcome will be a materpiece. True skill and a wonderful sense of style is what u get from Nicole!! more

I have been going to Marissa Starro for many years now and she is the best hairdresser around. She always listens to my needs and knows exactly what color I want. I just went two days ago and I have received so many great comments on my hair. She is an asset to Adam & Eve. more

Jakki is the best there is, However Nicole, Christine and April are not far behind her.. I refer them to everyone. If you need to be waxed Christine and Nicole are the way to go!!!! As far as updo's I prefer Jakki, Nicole and Christine for their funky yet sophisticated styles, April is a little on the traditional side for me but also does beautiful work.. They are and always will be the best!!! more

I went to this salon for many years. I got my hair cut and colored there regularly and got up-do's on several occasions. I also got my eyebrows waxed there. I was always happy with the results. The stylists listen to what you want done and are creative enough to suggest ideas you may like. The only down side is that they are expensive, and on Saturdays it is very crowded and they are usually running behind schedule. more
