I frequented Luggatti's Grill for at least 5 years and after their abrupt closure in December of 2009 I was dying for them to reopen and pay a visit.\r
\r
Approximately 1 month after they opened their doors (new owners & mgment) it was time to go back!! I am a huge fan of linguini pescatore, ciopino, etc. and although they got rid of the favorite, fruit de marre, I settled for the linguine pescatore. Preferring my red sauce spicy I asked my server to add addtional red pepper flakes while cooking the sauce to add some heat. \r
\r
To my suprise she told me that making my sauce spicy did not compliment the dish, even though the menu served it with ""arribiata"" (red spicy sauce). My friends ordered a steak rare and linguini and clams. \r
\r
The meal was served in a timely manner. Upon the arrival we noticed we were not given linguini in the least and was bright yellow. We asked the server what type of noodles we were served and she repsonded ""i have no idea"" thanks for help lady!!\r
\r
My pescatore was disgusting and served with a sweet red sauce, and the steak was medium. The linguini and clams had hard noodles that were barely cooked. The homemade tiramasu was great, but not enough to bring me back for round two!\r
\r
A huge disappointment as a former regular. Alessa is now my place as well as Paolo's in Old World.\r
