The best food in town 4/12/2010

This is my first stop for great food. They have the freshest homemade salads. And I have food made there for me every week. The staff is friendly and very nice to me every time I go in. I would recommend this market to anybody!!! more

three strikes and they are out 10/6/2009

I want to like Ludwig's market so badly, for it is very convenient, however, it seems the prices keep rising, and the quality keeps falling. I used to love the meatloaf take home dinner there (when it was $5.99) now, almost overnight it rose to $8.99. also I find out that their so called "famous" lobster bisque, is simply packaged lobster base and heavy cream. finally the last time I was in there I purchased a few steaks from their New display cases, only to get them home and almost vomit at the smell of them. Upon further inspection, they went out of date 5 days before I purchased them....So, so, so sad... more

hopefully better next time 3/11/2009

I was in the Market this past Saturday. The people there seemed to look right past me, I waited at least 5 minutes to be waited on at the counter, even though there were about 6 people in back, seemingly doing not much more than snacking on food and talking to each other, then, when I finally got my chicken salad home,I realized that it definitely wasn't fresh.... it had started to turn rancid, so it was probably a week old... more

beware the seafood!!! 3/11/2009

I just don't think the turnover of their product is fast enough, on the other hand, they do have great mashed potatoes.....sometimes getting waited on TAKES FOREVER!! more

Quick and easy 9/21/2008

its really good and convenient especially if you live in the area.. yea it might be a bit pricy, but some of their meals are great and the seafood is really good more

Avoid the pizza, unless desparate... 3/21/2008

Whatever you do, don't buy the Mom's Bake-at-Home pizza here. You will pay through the nose for terrible pizza. *Often* our order has been totally screwed up, at times to the point of being inedible. It is run like a vanity business, staffed by high schoolers. A big red flag at a place like this should always be the lack of any *one* person you can identify as the owner. Can't tell. more

Quality breads, seafood, unique 9/22/2005

This small market carries a wide assortment of gourmet foods. From LeBus breads to the seafood to the soups that are from next door's Ludwig's Oyster bar, and the vegetables and fruits, this is a place to gather ingredients or an entire meal. The gourmet foods come at fairly gourmet prices, but the quality is very good. You'll find some unique hard to find items here as well as things you might need everyday. It's worth a stop by to pick up something small and the ingredients are fresh. more
