I found Lucy's Doggy Day Care and Spa about two months ago while enjoying a blizzard from DQ... The dogs were having so much fun in the play area I had to let my dog/Auggie come for a day. When I went inside, the person up front was very friendly and gave me a tour of the entire place. I don't really have any need for their grooming but I saw people picking up who looked to be very happy. more

I have used Lucy's for about a year now to have our std. poodle groomed. It's the only place we've been to that I don't have to drag him in. I really feel like they know him when we go, and they seem excited to see him. He goes to the daycare which I think he likes too since most groomer's just stick him in a kennel until they are ready to groom him. more

When I take my little girl there she has so much fun, that when she gets home she just wants to sleep! I know she has had alot of fun because I can see her running like the wind when i go online and watch them on the webcam! The staff are very sweet and kind to all the doggies that go to that daycare and take the time to individually get to know all of them. Plus its a clean and wonderful enviorment for my baby! I dropped both my dogs off at Lucy's over Thanksgiving. I was able to watch them play in the park on the web cam while I was away. I even called and they put my dogs in front of the cammera on a daily occurance. I really appreciated the above and beyond service the staff at Lucy's gave me and my dogs! I am so happy to find Lucy's. Talk about grooming, these are pro's. Thanks for being so caring to Lovie. Lovie usually does not like to be bathed but now i am out of the bathing game. more

I went by Lucy's to see how my dog might do boarding. I recieved a tour from the owner and the place looked fantastic. I told him how much anxiety my dog has. He said they were willing to evaluate my dog. Needless to say, my dog was a nervios wreck. All of the other dog's seemed to love it buy Sophie was so uncomfortable. The owner told me that they were willing to see if Sophie would warm up but recomended she might feel more comfortable/at ease with a pet sitter Pros: Honesty Cons: None more

I love taking my dog Emma to Lucys.She goes to day care daily and has so much fun. I can watch her on the web cam when I am at work. I also enjoy picking her up early and watching her play in the park. The staff is very attentive and gives Emma special attention. The grooming is also fantastic. It makes my life so easy that she can play all day and be groomed before I pick her up at 6PM. I highly suggest this place for anyone who loves their dog. I have taken my dogs there twice now. Figuring the first time must have been a fluke since there were so many happy customers. I have asked that the owner call me, to this date - NOTHING! The were not only rude but treated my dogs roughly. So that is it for me and my precious dogs. They have managed to loose our records - more than once. I had a 9:00 a.m. appointment for them to be groomed - booked it two weeks ahead of time and didn't pick them up until 5:00 p.m. Normally, that wouldn't be a problem, however, I was told repeatedly that they were "almost ready" and I should keep waiting. I lost my whole afternoon "waiting". I honestly believe that perhaps they may have too many dogs there now and it is showing in their customer service and overbooking in grooming. so a couple of weeks ago on a random monday i thought i would stop by this cool place i have seen driving by so many times. i might have to board my dog when i get married, so i thought no better time like the present. i drove up and saw loads of happy dog playing in their huge park- they were playing fetch, i instantly thought willy, my dog, will love that! when i went in this nice young women greeted me and we discussed what lucy's was all about. i even got to take a tour, i thought i would have to schedule one or something- i got to see them as is, and i will tell you what, i was surprised to see everything was great, very nice looking and clean. most places will not let you back until after certain hours. wow i was blown away at how cool this place is. i will be boarding willy in nov with lucy's-and their super nice staff, i know they will take great care of my boy. Pros: the dog park, getting to let my dog play while im away/ cool & nice staff Cons: cant think of any more

My husband and I will be leaving the country in a couple of months for a few weeks on a business trip. I am stressing because we will have to leave our two dogs behind. I am looking around and touring several facilities. I found Lucy's Doggy Daycare in the phone book and decided to call first thing in the morning. I was greeted very nicely on the phone and given plenty of information about Lucy's and the types of areas my dogs could stay and what each of them could do. They are very different dogs: a Lab and a beautiful bichon. So I was very happy to hear one could try the big dog park, the other could try the indoor play area and then be together the rest of the time and over night. I was encouraged to stop by for a tour. I decided to swing by later that afternoon. I ABSOLUTELY love this place; before I walked in I stopped in the window to see the little ones at play- they all seemed so happy to be there. When I entered the establishment, I informed the lady I would like to tour, see remembered my name and breed of dogs I had!! I saw the whole place not just one room like other places only let you view. I was able to view the very clean, organized, and fresh smelling: large area where most of the dogs stay, the indoor play area, the backyard with great tents for the sun, another area for dogs who come just for the day, the salon and spa where I can wash my own dogs. I will definitely be using the spa this weekend for our lab. It smelt so great, some of the other places smelled of urine. I felt very welcomed and comfortable with their very knowledgeable and sweet staff. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone and anyone!!! We were relunctant about leaving our pet for the weekend - but after going by Lucy's and getting a tour and meeting some of the staff, I felt pretty comfortable that it was a good place for our dog. On the first night away, a staffer from Lucy's gave us a call. I was totally shocked to hear her say that our pet was doing well and enjoying his stay! How aweseome is that? My husband and I had just been talking about our dog and wondering if he was okay... now that is service! I relaxed and really enjoyed our weekend away, knowing that our dog was in good hands with people who truly cared about the pets they were watching! Thanks Lucy's - we'll definately be back! When I first went to Lucy's, I was dropping my girls off for the weekend. The staff had communicated their vaccination policy to me and I was sure my dog's records were up to date. When I went there, they checked my vaccination records and sure as anything, my dogs kennel cough vaccination had expired. I was in a major rush and through a fit because I had a plane to catch. The staff was very calming and volunteered to take my dogs to the vet in the same shopping center where they stayed the night. Although I wanted my dogs to play with all of the other dogs, I appreciate Lucy's high standards and the fact that even though I through a temper tantrum, they would not compromise the safety of the other dogs and their facility. After living and boarding our dog in cities with different people throughhout the years, Lucy's is by far the best experience. The staff was very attentive and caring for our dog. She seemed to not to want to leave when we picked her up and the dog park is just fabulous. We would highly recommend to anyone to give them a try. They even have a webcam so you can watch your dog in the park when your away. more

All Dogs Go To Heaven when you drop them off at Lucy's. I have a golden retriever named Waylon. I used to have to lift him up to climb in the back of my suv. Ever since our first trip to Lucy's he just leaps into the back of my car. I take him there once or twice a week for day care and board him when I leave town. He can't wait to go and play in the dog park with the other dogs. He sometimes get real muddy and dirty. I have started asking them to bathe him in their grooming department before I pick him up. When I have time I like to bathe him myself in Lucy's self service dog wash. I use their towels and I don't get the bathroom all wet . The tubs are up high so I don;t have to squat and bend over. Anyway I think Lucy's is wonderful and Waylon thinks it is heaven. K Pros: DOG Loves it ALL. Cons: None more
