Too many times you see Chicago imitators, but this is the first to back it up south of I80. Granted it's not in the top 5 beefs I have eaten (Portillo's, Jonny's, Al's, Bona, ect), but they do it well and correctly. They have hot giardiniera, good bread, and a tasty beef. I make it a point to stop when I pass by, and recommend it to all transplants from Chicago. I got a chance to talk with the owners who know what they are doing. This place made my day and makes living in Texas a little more bearable. Oh yeah, they have beer too.
